Europa Universalis 3, Heir to the Throne (wait 3 minutes for images to load on each page) (Used imageshack, images will break and this topic will be useless in a year) ![]() I will be playing as Castille, one of 2 kingdoms that united to form Spain. Castille is the largest nation on the Iberian peninsula when I start playing. I will be playing from the year 1399 to the year 1821, or until my nation is destroyed. If I make a mistake, I will NOT change history. I will adapt to my mistakes or be destroyed. I will play from the kings perspective and try to be realistic. I will not type alot, the images should explain my predicament. ~~~~~~~~~1399-1412~~~~~~~~~~ ![]() The Jews and Muslims on my Southern Borders have many new idea's. Before I convert the heathens, we should try to gain their knowledge. We pray these people find Christ. ![]() We have a royal marriage with the kingdom of Aragon. We quickly discover that they lack a proper heir to the throne and our Monarch is quick to makes his claim. The Kingdom does not submit to our rightous claim and we declare war. The Portugese make the poor decision to honor their alliance. Our navy and army are superior in every way and our king has a strong faith. ![]() God is with us. The Aragonese are busy with their Frankish neighbours. We quickly concentrate our armies against the Portugese on our Southern Borders. We win a glorious victory and begin our glorious march into Lisbon. ![]() The Portugese are defeated and the Aragonese have survived against the French. Our wise king and faithful men will be remembered forever. We will win this war. ![]() Our glorious capital has fallen to the Aragonese, but our committment to god has been rewarded. One of Bisops, loyal to god and our king has taken the position of Pope. He has ordered a crusade against the Muslims in Southern Iberia. Christians from across Europe are united under the cross and flocking to Castille. ~more to come |

![]() The Fighting is Fierce but we continue to win battles. We will repay this blood with the blood of many Heathens. ![]() The battle is glorious, but our king is lost. Hit by a stray arrow in the midst of the battle. The Greedy Nobles mobilise and form an army to place a new king upon the throne, but there already is a proper heir, Juan, the kings son. Since Juan is 8... the previous king had his court be put in power on his death, until Juan is ready. This council cannot declare wars. ![]() They have recovered from their wounds and have returned to the aid of the Aragonese. ![]() Aragon is now ruled by our kingdom. We must build relations with their nobility. We are now united and can now concentrate against the Muslims. Portugal now stands alone. ![]() The Portugese army does not fight, they run. Their forts crumble and we quickly defeat them. We capture their Northern posessions in Iberia, the province of Navarra will make us stronger. ![]() Juan De Trastimara is destined to rule over the kings of Castille and Aragon. He is going to be strong but.. unpopular ruler. ![]() Our kings loyal court takes more power away from the Nobility. The Nobles in once again rally under another pretender. The pretender is easily defeated and the Nobles... replaced. |

![]() Juan is now fit rule his two kingdoms. He has decided to unite them into a single power, Spain. ![]() The French fear us, they offer an alliance and we begin our crusade against the Heathens in Southern Spain and North Africa. ![]() We join the French against the English and the Burgundians. This war will be the largest war since the days of the Roman empire ![]() ![]() A new weapon has been invented. The Longbow! This weapon will change the battlefield forever and will help us win battles. |
