Mine fluctuates too long for me to vote really. I'd say I'm on the high end of the listing though. I try not to get less than 5 hours sleep a day but sometimes it just happens. I have difficulty sleeping at night, I sleep better in the mid to late morning than anything, which is problematic as everything is open around that time. I do love to get days where I can just oversleep and dream though. Interesting things come out of my sleeping imagination, and I always seem to retain most of what I dream. |

I wonder if Coffee drinkers manage to sleep less than those who don't. Cause I hear people all the time doing late hours and overnights all the time and coffee always seems to be involved. |

Honestly 1-3 hours..... I just don't seem to sleep well. It just seems the longer I sleep the worst I feel. |

I sleep for about 6-8 hours. Not that special to honest. Depending on your age your body will need a certain amount of sleep. -Babies sleep for most of the day -Children tend to need less sleep -Teens begin to border the 6 hour spectrum -Adults really don't need much sleep. Toegoff is probably in his twenties so it is normal for him to go so long without sleep. -Elderly people tend to revert in all factors. They need more sleep again, but they also can't control their bowels. There are lots of other factors, but looking at the poll results can give you an idea of how old some the people might be. Naturally there could be adults who sleep for 8 hours, and elderly people who still only sleep for 6. Generally though most people follow the pattern of starting from needing a lot of sleep to not not needing much back to needing a lot. Of course everyone is different for their own reasons. It's partly because younger people need more sleep to help them grow. Adults are done growing. I'm still between the teen and adult phase so I need around 6-8 hours of sleep still. I prefer 8 though. |

The thing is....I don't NEED that much sleep...it's just the amount of sleep I do get. I am essentially my own boss so I can make my own work hours so I never have to wake up to the alarm clock...that lets me stay up late, sleep late and get up pretty much whenever I want or when the dog starts hitting me with his paw (which he sometimes does.....just punches me on the fess for not waking up when he wants me to....) |

Hi there, It's harder if you try to fall asleep. If I try to fall asleep, it just takes all the longer. Then I get frustrated and fall asleep with three hours to go until the alarm sounds. Lots of fun there. If I don't try, I usually slip into a dream that makes no sense whatsoever. Anyway, that's my digression for the day. Thanks and have a great weekend! |

I can get by on a few hours for a couple of days but then I'll need a major sleep-in. Usually I don't like going to bed but once I'm there I ain't moving without encouragement. On average, I probably get 8-10 hours a day. |
