If you can move faster than the universe you enter the Fourth dimension. Much in the same way that you enter the Second Dimension If your temperature reaches absolute zero. But that is highly theoretical Quantum Physics. |

I imagine you would turn into dust from the heat caused by the friction. |

Probably, except I think that gravity itself has no mass so the matter isn't dragging, the gravity is, so the only friction caused would be the slowing of time? |

Like I said, this is more likely for Earth anyways. 1. Earth gets hit with a Comet. 2. Earth will get destroyed by the Sun when it turns into a Red Giant. 3. Mars will be exposed for having life on it(either Past or Present) 4. Humans find life on another planet like the one that Humans currently found. 5. New York get invaded by aliens These are the current scenarios that Humans are going to see. |

Steven Hawking did a program in the U.K (I don't know whether it aired in the U.S or the rest of Europe) and he theorised that in a few hundred years we could very easily travel at light speed by using space ships and even trains that are specially designed to not be explodey But this wouldn't be a form of high speed transportation like most think, but rather a form of time travel. so basically 1 month in these special ships/trains is equal to 2 year in "earth terms". One of his animations in the show was one of these light speed trains that had a track that went around the world and the train would simply go along that track for 2 years, at light speed. The point was when they left the train the world would have aged and changed in a futuristic way yet they would only be 2 years older, effectivly "time travelling". |

1. Vey unlikly because in the formation of the solar system alot of the comet's/meteors collided with planets. Because there were many more planets than there is now the liklyhood of collision was high. The lack of numbers of comets now and the size of our planet (relitivly small) mean that this is very unlikly. 2. yes in 3-5 billion years so time to prepare i think 3. Mars currently cannot house life as it has no atmosphere (i think or a thin one that cannot sustain life) but maybe in the past. It would be quite cool to see what they evolved like if they existed 4. This would be quite cool to see. But of course humans would wade in and spoil its beuty *sigh* 5. As long if its in America hopefuly more like E.T than independance day.

And how are you so sure that other life forms need oxygen to survive? |

oops. I was suppossed to quote this...
This states that other life forms also need oxygen to survive and can't live in too high temperature, much like humans. I'm just saying that all life forms may not need an atmosphere to survive because they may not be like the human race. |

An atmosphere (New Latin atmosphaera, created in the 17th century from Greek ἀτμός [atmos] "vapor"[1] and σφαῖρα [sphaira] "sphere"[2]) is a layer of gases that may surround a material body of sufficient mass,[3]and that is held in place by the gravity of the body. An atmosphere may be retained for a longer duration, if the gravity is high and the atmosphere's temperature is low. Some planets consist mainly of various gases, but only their outer layer is their atmosphere (taken from wikipedia obv) Atmosphere =/= oxygen

I'm sorry but, what does =/= mean? Because if it means "equals" then I already stated that in my last comment... |
