I've written a few poems... here's one about death, that I wrote when I had a migraine. Hello world that I hate so, why won't you let me be? Life it all seems oh, so, slow from all that I forsee. How great it seems to end it all. Take sip of last chablis. The task you ask seems much too tall, Alone, and solely, me. THE CHOICE TIS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE, UNLIKE YOUR FATE DESCRIBED. FROM LIFE TO YOU NO ANSWERS KNOWN, HAVE EVER BEEN INSCRIBED. DO FIND THAT ALL THAT COULD BE DONE, YOU HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT. YOU WILL SOON FIND THAT DEATH'S A TONNE, THAT ISN'T EARNED, BUT BOUGHT. I am alone, in my own mind, I know this in my heart. I can feel my soul unwind, my body must depart. I feel too alone to think, and death it does intice. Despite my soul and body's chink, can my heart pay the price? THE PRICE TO PAY THROUOUT THE WHOLE, YOU GAIN IN THE INVERSE. DEATH IS AN END, FOR THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN ALL THAT'S IN THEIR PURSE. WHAT YOU GIVE IS WHAT YOU GAIN, WHAT YOU GAIN YOURSELF MEANS NAUGHT. IF YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN ALL YOU HAVE, THE DEATH IT MATTERS NOT. My intentions may be filled with greed, my death is quite for self. But should I give all that I have, or keep it to myself? The world it has been all but sparce for what was gifted me. Does it deserve what's mine to give, will it enrich esprit? LIFE LIKE WINE, IT AGES WELL AND YOURS IS RATHER NEW. I EMPLORE TO WAIT, FERMENT, PERFECT YOUR POTENT BREW. THERE'S NOTHING HERE AFTER YOU DIE, THE TRUTH IS, ALL YOU GAIN, IS WHAT YOU GAVE, NOT WHAT YOU TOOK, LIFE TRULY DIES IN VAIN. I gave all that I wanted, I took all I needed too. If it be I wanted less I would not die, would you? Death should be a final reward, the thing I want the most. But now you tell of death as not, the glamour of it's host. IF YOU WISH TO DIE, THEN DO. IT'S NOT MY PLACE TO JUDGE. HELL IS A PLACE RESERVED FOR THOSE STILL LIVING WHO BARE GRUDGE. DEATH IS JUST AN END, BUT YOU'VE BARELY JUST BEGUN. FAR BE IT, MY PLACE TO TELL, YOU WHAT YOU'VE REALLY WON. I take my death, into my hands, I make my choice today. Goodbye world, who never cared of my life anyway. YOU TRULY MISSED THE POINT MY FRIEND, DEATH NEVER IS FOR YOU, DEATH REALLY IS A MEASURE OF THE WORLD THAT YOU RENEW. Hope you enjoyed the poem that I wrote while my head was throbbing in pain. |

I can recall penning some doggerel following a tooth extraction. I should root through one of my diaries and see if I can find it. Have a good day! |

The migraine was possibly an inspiration, but oooh I found another poem! Can flowers grow where there is no sun? No Rain can fall when there is no light. All is still when there is no sun, and the moon is forbidding and void. How much life can one star give? Can it love? Can it live? No? Does it live through us? Do I love for it? ... When it dies, Will I die? When I die does it remember? Will anything ever remember? Or does eternity remember for me? I remember. Does anything else matter? No. This was the poem that I used for my signature! YAY! |

For fun I'll put up the last poem I have on me right now, it's the poem that I wrote for my grade 8 grad. An Unexpected End My experience in this school seems to spring from people here. People did indeed decline up to this current year. From staff, to student. From structure, to rule. The school, it always seemed to take me for a fool. But in this case, and ones before, I follow simple call. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. How far must I travel back, to get to places nice? For all have fooled me once before, you surely fooled me twice. I’m sifting through the memories, to pick the ones I like. But the memories out of context just don't work without dislike. I can name some shallow moments, of happiness sans strife. But my memories mean nothing, if not steeped in my own life. So imagination, and creation, and other things you'd like to hear. Because you'll never understand why that's my summary of the year. You know I've learned more here, than I ever could at home. But most of what I've done has taught me what to do in Rome. I'm done with all the Romans, and I'm off to greater things. The only thing that's left, is to wait for what life brings. It seems rather angsty in retrospect. Oh well. |

Not really, but I guess that was the point of the poem, it just wasn't great. But it was hard to separate the bad from the good. |
