Strike the Blood, which was actually kinda good through it's first two story arcs, but then became a harem with occasional fights.
Man, I had forgotten how disappointing that show was... The music was really, really good though.

I mean, if we're talking more like "some things I'll never watch", then sure, there's probably a lot of stuff I'm missing out on because of that too. I mean, even though I try to watch so many shows at once, I do skip a lot of them, because there are some genres (or categories, rather) that I've just had generally bad experiences with.

Some of these would probably be:

Mecha: Depends on the type of mecha, and how much it's actually in the show (Guilty Crown is tagged mecha, but hardly a focus), but if it's big, gundam stuff, then I won't watch it, cuz it just doesn't seem fun.

Pure SOL: It gets boring... I have a really short attention span, actually, so I have a hard time just watching more than 1 episode at a time to begin with, so when it's just talking about random "fun" things, or skits, it doesn't hold my interest...

Pure romcoms: Same here, kinda. Unless it does something very special, I just can't stay interested, because it's all so generic, and you know exactly how everything will turn out (they like each other, nobody says anything at first, something dumb happens that causes drama, they get over it, they get together). Like, I love Oregairu because of Hachiman, I liked Nyan Koi! cuz of the twist as well, etc. But like, stuff like Toradora, which is often said to be THE best romcom out there, I can't watch, cuz it has nothing "special", it just happens to have the "best" writing in this genre.

Ecchi + Harem: Shouldn't really have to explain why not...

Shoujo: This is probably the worst one, too. Especially since I've seen shoujo shows which I actually like. It's just that generally, they have such weird artstyles, and the writing always seems to be on the low side as well, so I dunno...

Anything else I'm all for , though!
Mecha:

Pure SOL:

Pure romcoms:

Ecchi + Harem: You're weak and i don't want to get banned by posting adult content.

Shoujo: I mean, it's like romance but with potatoes.

You can't make embedded videos play at specific times, and you need the full link, not the short one.

There was that slice of life with the calligraphy artist going to that island. I thought that was one of, if not the best, series of that season. Every episode had a ton of laughs!

Usagi Drop was good in it's own right (slice of life, comedy, and drama (and the drama is actually warranted)). Until I decided to see where the manga went. Let's just say the anime ended the best way of the 2 and leave it at that. If you want to check out the manga, that's up to you. But trust me when I say that it pulls a Shyamalan kind of twist (out of nowhere, unneeded, and rather off putting).

Barakamon is actually a major exception to that for me. I absolutely love that show (even have it rated as a 10/10).

I really like slice of life shows, as long as there's strong personalities involved. I actually just recently finished one called Yuyushiki. It was a rather odd combination of insanely cute and occasionally perverted.

Just finished Kyousogiga and just... wow that's an amazing show. Easily one of the most unique anime I've ever seen, and the cast of characters is top notch. Animation, aside from the couple obvious bits of cgi, was really good too. Can't say too much about the story without giving things away, but it did a great job of leaving an impact and the climax was perfect. This is the type of show I'd recommend for everybody to see at least once. It's fun, complex, and just beautiful.

Nice. Always thought that looked really interesting, and this might push me to watch it earlier now.

My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu season 2.
Very good, once again. A great series. But you know what I hate? FUCKING CLIFFHANGERS! Yeah, the season ended on a pretty big cliffhanger.

Still, 9/10.

So, sitting in a car driving down to Florida, watching the last episode of Snafu in my father's phone due to unlimited data, and I have to say... I'm not mad with the ending. Of course, there's still another novel to wrap up the story to come out, but the development of the characters across the show has been phenomenal. I'm going for an OVA or something for the last novel, but I won't be upset if it doesn't happen. 8/10.

Also, I watched Summer Wars. Amazing movie.

You should watch "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", too. Same director as Summer Wars and Wolf Children, and in comparison I'd personally say TGWLTT is much, much better than Summer Wars (Wolf Children still the best tho).

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd Season - Final Impressions - (10/10):
Just outright amazing. I previously said that the reason I gave the first cour a 9 instead of a 10 was because it lacked that "emotional punch", and that I expected it to come in the second cour, and boy, was I right. Honestly, the fight/conversation between Archer and Shirou was one of the most beautiful episodes I have ever seen, and I'm pretty sure I had chills the entire time while watching that. Many tears were also shed once characters started to die off, as well. To be honest, I knew a lot of stuff that was going to happen here (not from reading the VN, I just suck at not spoiling shit for myself), and a lot of it still packed quite a punch, so to speak. Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Aimer's "Brave Shine" (the OP) is seriously amazing. I've listened to it so much, and I never skipped a single OP of this, which is pretty unusual. So, while I still enjoy F/Z more as a whole, this season is definitely up there among the best, and I can't wait for HF when we eventually get that!

I'll second this recommendation. TGWLTT is a hell of a movie. I'll say that most time travel ideas end up as a bit of a clusterfuck, but they did a good job with keeping this one simple and following the rules they set for the time jumps.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed it, hence the high rating. Just never been a fan of cliffhangers. Still, one of my favorite shows this last season.

Another one I finished was Etotama. A pretty cheesy and light hearted show with CGI action scenes that oddly worked for it. It's funny and entertaining enough. Not all that deep, but it does what it sets out to do. Just a light hearted, funny, show. A bit of fanservice thrown in, some breaking of the 4th wall, and it doesn't take itself seriously, and neither should you if you want to give it a go.
7/10.

Ore Monogatari. Only about half way through (24 episodes slated), but it sets itself up differently from most other romantic comedies. I have explained why a few times, but unless you watch it for yourself, you really just don't get how. And it does so in a good way. For example, drama that would normally become heavily exasperated in other series and be stretched through multiple, if not the entire series. This one gets it over with within the first couple of episodes (that the main protagonist and his love interest like eachother, have many misunderstandings, but then the best friend of the MC straightens them out). Also some extremely funny moments.

8.5/10. Some of the scenes with character's faces don't quite live up to the rest. But overall, a very good series.

Just watched the first Kara no Kyoukai movie, and I gotta say it was not bad (not that I really expected it to be either). Standard ufotable quality animation, it had really great music, actually (that ending song by Kalafina was so good), and while I have to admit that it's not super straight-forward in terms of story and all at this point, I don't think it's jumbled enough to make me lose interest or anything, so hopefully it'll just get better the more movies I watch.

All in all, solid 8/10.
