New Angel Beats special was pretty funny. Kinda glad they brought it back, at least for one episode. |

Snafu, was pretty good. 8.5/10 Dan-Machi, also pretty good. 7-5-8/10 Nisekoi, it's nisekoi no progress what so ever and it bothers me. 7/10 Plastic memories, cri evry tim. 7/10 loose one point for tragic ending (hate em.) Owari no seraph, seemed baller but turned pretty shite towards the end. 6/10 Log horizon 2: 6/10. Meh and more meh. Punchline. Boring AF. 5/10 Girisaia rakusen. 7-8. it was a bit of a clusterfuck but fun none the less. Still have a fuckton to finish and i probaly will never finish my lie in april cuz i hate sad things and i cry like a girl. Edited by Pong, Jun 28 2015, 08:06 AM.

Spoiler: click to toggle Yea... And that Plan to Watch-list is after I just deleted a bunch (33) of shows that I realized I would never have an interest in watching... To be honest, out of those 30 I'm currently watching, chances are high I'll drop a lot of them, but I still want to give them 1 or 2 more episodes (at least the ones that are below 3 episodes watched), to give them a fair shot, but there's still a big chance I'll just end up dropping like: Arslan Senki (unless it gets much better than first ep, which I thought was really bad) Nagato Yuki-chan (cuz it sucks) Houkago no Pleiades (prob just gonna drop this right now, not even gonna give it 3 ep) Plastic Memories (depending on how slow it is) Punch Line (since it wasn't too great to begin with and now people say it sucks so) KanColle (supposedly not gonna get that much better) Your Lie in April (SOL shit I can't watch...) Gekkan Shoujo (see above) Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii (or maybe not, I just haven't watched it in a really long time) So yea... |

Yeah punchline started off interesting (with characters going almost super saiyan with their changes), and then.... It got pretty bloated with numerous plotlines and body swapping thrown in halfway through (as it turns out, the MC is biologically female, but the mind of a male as they did a bodyswap some years back). And after episode 6, it basically goes back to the beginning with a slightly different take on things. Your Lie in April I could only go to a certain point. Because, while I guess it could be SOL, it's also Drama and Psychological with some classical music here and there. Gekkan Shoujo is pretty funny if you want a show for the laughs. That's what it is. |

Watched the second Kara no Kyoukai movie yesterday, and seems like there's gonna be a lot of jumping around, in terms of the chronological order. I mean, this one takes place around 3 years before the first, and sort of deals with Shiki's and Kotukou's backstory more, which I thought was great, because honestly the first movie doesn't really do much at all in terms of character development of any kind, so it's awesome to see an entire movie dedicated to just that, basically. Still, this one also gets an 8/10. |

Finished Date A Live season 1, pretty solid show. Pretty outrageous and makes fun of itself for it a lot, and Kurumi's character design might be one of the coolest I've ever seen. Imma finish season 2 later today. |

Oregairu 2 - Final Impressions - (9/10): Can't say I thought it was a super good ending, since I mean, it's basically not an ending at all, but at the same time, I liked this entire season a lot. I mean, you still have the same funny stuff from s1, but you have insane amounts of character development here (which you really didn't have in s1), which I think is awesome. Expecting at least one more installment in this series (whether it's a full-feature series or an OVA), just to have something to wrap it all up completely. Because honestly, this leaves way too much stuff in the air (as opposed to first season's ending, which was much less open than this). --------------------------------- Also dropped Houkago no Pleiades, Punch Line, Gekkan, and Your Lie in April for real now, so I'm down to a whooping 25 series to finish... Just watched the new OVA for Angel Beats, and holy shit, did that bring back some memories. When I got to hear that OP, and then Brave Song at the end, I really, really felt like rewatching the show just because... Also, don't know how I never realized Sawashiro Miyuki is in this show. Granted, she doesn't have the biggest role, but she even sings her own song (which I also never realized it was still her who was singing...) |

Finished Date A Live II, was really scared that the second season wouldn't be as good as the first, but it seemed on about the same level. New girls, Kurumi being badass, and Tohka being Tohka all made it as I hoped. 8/10 for both seasons.

Well, Kara no Kyoukai 3 finished as well. I don't really think this movie added a lot in terms of either character or story (or I mean, there was a lot of focus on Kokuto, but eh...) though it did explain some small things, like how Shiki is able to grab the spirit like that in the first movie. Also, a lot of action, which was cool. Also, I looked up the chronological order, and they really seem to like to jump around a lot... I mean, the order is like 2 > 4 > 3 > 1 > 5 > 6 > 7 But yea, this also gets an 8/10. Supposedly 5 and, I think, 7 are the best ones, so we'll see about that soon. |

That latest chapter of UQ Holder. Man, the feels in it are a lot like Angel Beats. For those not in the know, UQ Holder is the sequel series to Negima Master Magi manga (neither anime really follow the manga, at least past a certain point). Let's just say we see Evangeline's past, and many people are seeing her in a new light (myself included). |

Ranpo Kidan: Game of Laplace - First Impression - (6/10): So this is a show I originally didn't plan on watching this season (didn't even know it existed until just now), and even after this I'm not so sure I've changed my mind on that matter. Basically, this is a mystery/horror show, about finding a serial killer. There are a few things I really don't like about it though. First of all, the "artsy" way they deal with background characters. Basically, every character that's not important in some way is just a grey silhouette. I understand that this is sort of supposed to be symbolic for how the MC views the world and all, but it really just breaks the scene totally when you get a bunch of grey dudes standing around talking... Other than that, the characters are kinda 50/50 for me atm. I don't really think I like Kobayashi both looking like a girl (and sounding like one), but also acting very girly in general, and I don't like the friend at all; he's just way too forced and stupid. On the other hand, the detective dude is cool, so. So I think in the end my biggest gripes with this show will come down to the fact that it'll be scenes filled with grey dudes everywhere, and that it will most likely focus a lot more on Kobayashi (and as a result, his friend as well), instead of the detective dude. --------------------------------- |

I watched the first episode of Gangsta, and so far it's exactly what I wanted it to be. Just a dark, kinda gritty action series that isn't overly serious. At least not really serious right away. The obvious comparison to make here would be to Black Lagoon, as it has a really similar setup. Like Black Lagoon, it did a fairly good job of making the main characters be likable while still letting them be more or less the bad guys (well, lesser evil of the area). Nicolas in particular does a good job of leaving a positive lasting impression. Pretty much, if you like this kind of action show, anything along the lines of Black Lagoon or Michiko and Hatchin, you'll probably enjoy Gangsta. |

Gangsta. - First Impression - (9/10): I gotta say, there was not a thing I didn't like with this episode. In all honesty, this is exactly what I expected it to be, which is awesome. It really delivers on all the "themes" it promises, it's refreshing to see adult characters actually look, and act, like adults instead of teens/kids, the action is good, and it has a dark and gritty tone without pushing itself to being too edgy. Characters were also really good, especially Nicolas. I think having a "deaf/mute" character as a main character is a really interesting thing, and I love how it's not just there as some stupid gimmick. --------------------------------- |
