Charlotte - First Impression - (8/10):
Wow, really surprised by this. I was under the impression this would be just a normal SOL show (with the standard Key style), so I was not expecting superpowers. And they were actually used really well this episode, with what felt like one of the most "realistic" uses of superpowers in normal life. The MC is awesome, and it's also very funny. However, it does take a turn around the end of the episode, so we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the show plays out, but if it's anything like this episode, then I have no doubt it's gonna be great.

Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade (9/10):

My expectations for this movie were pretty high due to how much I loved the first Anime Harry Potter, and this basically lived up to them. Characters are still awesome, animation is pretty good for a movie funded by kickstarter, and the plot is more fleshed out since the movie is twice the length of the first one (An hour instead of 24 minutes). Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who liked the first.

Rokka no Yuusha - First Impression - (7/10):
This show has some great things going for it, but during the entire time I was watching it, I still never really felt like "this is totally an 8/10". Not sure why, but that's how it is now... Anyway, the unarguably best part about this was definitely the action scenes. They're fast, fluid, and the cinematography is actually really, really good. You get a lot of different angles that works together with the animation movements, and it really helps making the scene feel "moving". I mean, even during dialog they did a lot of camera movement that just really added so much to the scene. Honestly, I don't think there's much more to say about anything until we actually get to see the other characters or they expand a bit more on the story (unless it's literally just gonna be them fighting demons for 12 episodes).

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou - First Impression - (7/10):
Ok so, I'm still sort of unsure why I'm even watching this to begin with (seeing as how it's not related to Monster Girl Quest, like I originally thought), but I gotta say, it's not... bad. Seems to me like it focuses a lot more on the comedic aspect rather than the ecchi aspect, even to the point where it mostly uses the ecchi stuff to make way for more comedic content. Also the fact that this is actually about the MC not being able to get any of the girls (due to a law), but they try to "seduce" him makes it kind of different, I guess. All in all, I'd say that it's pretty funny, and so far I don't see the ecchi stuff being a big enough thing to drop it just because of that.

Also nice to see a series where the parents not only are actually in it, but both are still alive (seriously, how many series have a main character's parent(s) killed off before the series even begins? Too many, that's what). A bad trope in many series is that one or both parents are dead for some reason, rarely appear, or are overseas for the entirety of the show. But it was funny, the family dynamic reminds me a bit of The Brady Bunch, and has an interesting premise. Hopefully it doesn't end up like similarly promising series that started out as such (looking at YOU, Itsuka and almost Harry Potter rip-off).

Monster Musume-
I had read like the first chapter or two when it first came out (basically episode 1 in a nutshell) and forgot to check for updates since. Will be interesting to see where this goes.

Though I mean, just from the first episode we find out their family isn't exactly doing too well (among other things), so there's a big chance we'll get some major drama later on, with their family probably visiting the school or whatever. I guess we'll see though.

According to the translation I've watched, the King wants his family to live fairly normal lives, hence living in a townhouse rather than the castle.

Wait, what? I thought we were talking about Charlotte now?

Watched the first episode of Monster Musume. Like Savepoints said, it's definitely more of a comedy than an ecchi show, and seems good so far. Miia has to be the cutest lamia I've ever seen.

So, the first episode of Gakkou Gurashi... holy shit. I can't say much without giving too much away, but if you have twenty minutes of free time, track down and watch Gakkou Gurashi. You absolutely will not regret it. Also, go into it as blind as possible.

Well... I mean, I expected it, but not like that. Like you say, I can't really say much about it at all, and I definitely think this is something you should go into as blind as possible too. But all in all, I think this could be good, as long as it doesn't become completely retarded after this.

Overlord - First Impression - (7/10):
So, this is probably the slowest start of any show this season, but that's ok, because all that time is basically spent trying to explain the situation and all. Honestly, I'm not worried about this becoming an SAO or LH "clone" just because they both have the premises of being stuck in games, since the setup for this is so different. Momonga was also pretty cool, but honestly, I think we can all agree that Albedo is the best there is (and not just best girl). I mean, that yandere face in the ED...

Watched the first episode of Sore Ga Seiyuu. It was kinda bland. Way too exposition heavy (including going over things that really didn't need to be spelled out for the audience), and none of the characters really stood out.

Gangsta. - Episode 3 Impressions - (9/10):
This is, no doubt, my contender for AotS as of now. It's everything I wanted it to be, and then some. It's dark and "mature" without pushing itself too far over the "2edy4me" line, it manages to be funny at the times when it wants to be, Alex is a great way to explain a lot of the setting and backstory without making it seem like forced exposition, and last of all, the fight scenes are awesome. Not only are they really well animated, and flow well (as short as they are), but every damn time Nicolas has spoken during a fight, it just gives me goosebumps, not gonna lie. Seems like it'll focus a lot more on our little cast of characters, as well, as opposed to introducing some "grand threat" that they suddenly need to save the world from as acting heroes, because that would not fit what's going on at all, so I rather hope it just focuses on them, to be honest.

Ranpo Kidan: Game of Laplace - First Impression - (6/10):
So this is a show I originally didn't plan on watching this season (didn't even know it existed until just now), and even after this I'm not so sure I've changed my mind on that matter. Basically, this is a mystery/horror show, about finding a serial killer. There are a few things I really don't like about it though. First of all, the "artsy" way they deal with background characters. Basically, every character that's not important in some way is just a grey silhouette. I understand that this is sort of supposed to be symbolic for how the MC views the world and all, but it really just breaks the scene totally when you get a bunch of grey dudes standing around talking... Other than that, the characters are kinda 50/50 for me atm. I don't really think I like Kobayashi both looking like a girl (and sounding like one), but also acting very girly in general, and I don't like the friend at all; he's just way too forced and stupid. On the other hand, the detective dude is cool, so. So I think in the end my biggest gripes with this show will come down to the fact that it'll be scenes filled with grey dudes everywhere, and that it will most likely focus a lot more on Kobayashi (and as a result, his friend as well), instead of the detective dude.
---------------------------------
Just got around to seeing the first episode of this. Personally, I kinda like the way it deals with background characters. I find Kobayashi interesting, though I can see why some people might be turned off on just how feminine is he is. It's a bit odd that this is the second crazy trap character to come from Studio Lerche this year (the first one being Nagisa in Assassination Classroom). Definitely agree about the friend though. And I'm looking forward to learning more about the detective.
