Also, is it just me who thinks Charlotte will probably have a pretty shitty final episode? Episode 12 Spoilers

Oh yeah. Awesome series. And it got most of the romance bullshit you see in most series out of the way quickly, with the help of said bromance. And Takeo is a nice change of pace from typical male leads too. |

Charlotte - Final Impression - (7/10): Honestly, I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed in this series. The concept of espers is one that I always like, but Charlotte has a lot of issues spread throughout, mostly regarding pacing and plot holes. In short I'd say the start of the series was the best IF they would have kept it like that. After a certain spoiler event in the series (in episode 6 or whenever it was), I felt like it sort of degraded a bit with the whole "the big man is after us"/time travel stuff. This is also where a lot of the plot holes start showing. Then, when that's finally done, you get something even more reached for, in terms of other syndicates. Honestly, that part felt so forced to me. Then we get episode 12 which I honestly thought was the best ending they could've done at that point. It's a great episode in that regard because there's a lot of closure about almost everything. What I didn't like about it however, is that the final part had to be its own episode. In my opinion it could've easily just been a post-credit scene after the entire thing, but no, we gotta watch some shitty montage with horrible pacing and major plot holes and the fucking power of courage (seriously...). It's totally possible that the pacing further in wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't start the series with like 3 episodes dedicated to finding random people who didn't even have any sort of impact on the series overall later on. But they did, and honestly this seems to be a pretty common thing in Jun's works. This guy either needs to change medium completely, or stop doing 12-episode shows. But all in all, I'd say it's worth a watch if you enjoy Jun's other works, but it wasn't exactly anything amazing. --------------------------------- Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou - Final Impression - (7/10): Honestly, I probably liked this more than I would've originally thought. Even though the ecchi content ramps up pretty damn hard after a few episodes, I think it stayed on that same level of funny that it was on at the start, and as more of the girls got introduced it added a nice dynamic since they were all different (for the most part). Some girls obviously didn't get nearly enough time, like Lala, but honestly I'd be surprised if there wasn't a second season for this (it's hinted at in the final episode). Even more so because, at its core this is a harem series, and there was absolutely no resolution as of this season (there's literally a ploy going on to get him to like a girl more, but he starts liking all of them more). I'm not saying I expect a full-on resolution like him choosing a single girl in the end, but some sort of closure in terms of that is nice, and not picking the harem-ending. I also didn't think the fanservice was too bad, since it mostly was there for the sake of comedy, and not for fanservice itself. --------------------------------- |

Episodes 10-13 of God Eater have been confirmed to air this winter instead (due to various issues), so I'll probably put it on hold for now until those last episodes actually air, just in case. |

Monmusu might be a while for the second season since the manga ain't that much further ahead, though they might make more episodes with less content. |

Ya, there's an ONA series of MonMusu still airing, and I hoped that would have been something good, but it's mostly like 4-6 minute compilations of like unused keyframes, so most of the time it's REALLY boring (someone brushing their hair in front of a mirror and humming the OP, then it cuts to the next scene). A lof of those episodes also include advertisement for the series DVD and BD, so you know. |

Monmosu was enjoyable. Got a centaur, a lamia, a harpy, a mermaid, a spider girl (the MC apparently has a leg fetish, for spider legs at that), and finally a dullalahan (I think I spelled that right). The fanservice ended up as a big part of the comedy, and it worked fairly well. Also the fact that the girls all had super strength (or near enough) and half the time damn near killed the poor guy without trying too. I'm gonna miss Working though. That was a hilarious show, and the 3rd season basically wrapped up nearly all of the plots, and quite well. The last episode kind of left off on a cliffhanger though. But still, one of my favorite series. |

Eh, most of them air within a week (and a lot of them air in just 2 days). Also, finished watching Carnival Phantasm for real now (not EX or Special season tho), and I actually liked it this time around as well. The first time I watched it was after having watched Fate/Zero, so I didn't really understand anything (since F/Z didn't exist when CP was made), but now that I actually got all of the Fate references it was actually really enjoyable. I even managed to understand most of the Tsukihime stuff, even though I haven't seen it. So yeah, it was like a 7/10. The Illya-jou special was like a 5 tho, that shit sucked. |

I thought one of the specials was like pretty much only Tsukihime, tho? eh, I guess we'll see. |

Aight, so watched Carnival Phantasm EX, which was pretty good (7/10), but not much more than just a longer episode of CP. HibiChika (the "special season") was better (still 7/10), although it makes me sad both because Hibino and Chikagi don't have an actual series that they come from, and because Koha-ace didn't get a proper adaption (not like I'ma read that shit). But with this, Fate/Kaleid is the only Fate-related series I have left now... RIP. |

So... Was sort of made to watch "Lingerie Senshi Papillon Rose"... I don't think I have to say any more than that it's an ecchi parody of Sailor Moon. It wasn't very good either, like a 5/10. Don't even consider this >_> Also saw something called "Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku: The Legend of Koizumi", which is about like world leaders playing Mahjong for some reason, and it's probably the most intense thing I have ever seen. It's only like 26 minutes long (3 episodes á 8 min), but since it's so short, there's shit happening ALL THE TIME, to the point of you almost not even knowing what's going on a lot of the time. It ends in like the worst possible place, but if I have ever seen an anime that makes me want to pick up the manga, this would be it. |
