There's a surprising amount of seinen coming in the winter season. I don't remember another season with four seinen shows. Ajin and Boku Dake ga Inai Machi (I hope this one gets a shortened name) seem like they'll be pretty interesting. Dimension W and Schwarzesmarken could be good too, but since they seem to be primarily action they could just be typical shonen with an extra side of gore. Still, having that tag makes it a bit more intriguing for me, so I'll check them out.

Got to to episode 5 of Super so far. Other than the Goku/Gohan voice and King Kai's voice, it's not bad. Though the animation of episode 5 has moments where it looks like a blind person animated it.

So, I totally missed this when it actually happened, but apparently ufotable made an announcement for a new Fate project in 2016. So now you're all thinking "well, it's Heaven's Feel, right?", but the thing is that Sakura's VA is on pregnancy leave, and will be taking time off after that (obviously), so unless all her work is already done - which is highly unlikely - we're likely not going to be seeing HF until probably 2017. So that means that we're likely getting a new entry adapted in 2016, however what that is remains sort of up in the air...

Could be Apocrypha, or a lot of people suspect Grand Order (probably just because it's the "big thing" right now), but personally I think it'd be sort of weird to do Grand Order before Apocrypha and/or Strange Fake. I guess we'll see later on this year.

Watched the final episode of Working 3.

Honestly i remember when i randomly picked up working 1 and binge watched that season, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, watched S2 even better and now when they wrapped up everything i can't say i don't want more. It's one of my favorite SOl/romance shows and will always be, kinda sad now that it's over.

10/10 3 seasons of pure gold.

Yeah. I'll miss it too. And almost wish another season would come, but I have no idea what they would do with it, as they've wrapped up pretty much everything. Still, a good series to go back and watch every so often if one ever needs a good laugh.

I was without internet for a bit so I'm only now able to watch current anime. Girls Beyond the Wasteland's first episode was well done. It's art is a bit generic and the main character is a touch bland; thought at least he's not an idiot or obsessed with something. I like that most of the characters act like real people, rather than being just the standard archetypes. This seems like something that won't break the mold, but it will simply tell a better high school story than most anime.

For Dimension W, again it doesn't break the mold but it simply does things well. The action is good, the pacing of the first episode was good, and I really liked the theme.

For Erased, I loved the revival effect, and the use of blue butterflies. The art is decent too. Not a huge fan of the main guy's voice, it's a bit too flat in my opinion. As for the mystery, it's definitely an interesting one. This is the best of the three I've seen so far.

I still need to watch the first episode of a few other shows, but this season seems like it could be a good one.

I picked up the Black Lagoon premium edition box set (whole series and OVA). It comes is a really nice box that's designed to look like an ammo box. Plus it has a working, zippo style lighter, an art book, and a dog tag necklace. All pretty solid, without cutting corners on the material the lighter and dog tags are made of. Here's what it all looks like: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81k3STNsqfL._SL1500_.jpg The chain for the dog tag though is definitely longer than it is in the picture.

I also picked up both seasons of Space Dandy since they were only 30 each for the bluray versions.

Here's a little story I came across. It combines The Familiar of Zero (Zero no Tsukaima) with Skyrim, the game. Literally. Where the Dragonborn take's Saito's place.

And I may or may not have enjoyed some other crossover fan fictions.

I checked out the first episode of Prince of Stride. It was surprisingly good, ended up being pretty funny. The sport of stride seems like it'll be fun to watch, and it's not the type of thing that'll get stretched out across multiple episodes, like how it's done in other sports anime. I'll look forward to see what Madhouse has up its sleeve for the rest of the races in the series.

Imiashi (famed director of Panty and Stocking, Kill la Kill, and Gurren Lagann, plus one of the main guys that left Gainax to form Trigger) has a new series coming out: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2016/02/07/uchuu-patrol-luluco-tv-anime-coming-in-april-of-2016

The artstyle is interesting, and knowing Imiashi there's probably going to be some amazing action scenes.

They announced that Dimension W will be coming to Toonami on the 27th. http://www.funimation.com/blog/2016/02/12/dimension-w-on-adult-swims-toonami/ I like that they got the guy that currently plays Vegeta in DBZ Kai to voice Kyoma

Good to see Toonami getting back into things like this. I remember getting home from school as a kid to catch DBZ and other anime. You know, before internet streaming. Just waiting on Funimation to get the English Dub of Dragon Ball Super. Most of the voices in the original are good, and you can get used to Goku's/Gohan's VA (sounds a lot better with Goten), but King Kai's VA, yeah.

And right now, I've fallen behind on my anime. Though Musaigen no Phantom is pretty entertaining. One of the first episodes, the protagonists had to do a limbo contest to put some spirits to rest.

Wow. Season 3 of RWBY got, well, dark. Started out about the same as the last two seasons, but after that, damn. The last episode was over 20 minutes too.

Erased might have the best pacing I've ever seen in an anime. Not a single second of it feels like filler, and it never goes too fast.
