That's a big spoiler from pretty much episodes 1 to 22
Why is the main character so bad at everything ?
Sersiouly. All he does is crying and being angry, he keeps saying he's gonna kill all them titans and shit, but...
Well, he kinda sucks balls. But then he turns into a Titan and starts kicking ass, so I'm all "ya look at u doing something useful for a change". But then, he goes back to being a useless whining piece of shit, spending more than three episodes before realizing that maybe he should do something while everyone else is dying.
So he goes all titan sayan again, starts kicking that female titan's ass... He's finally starting to win something... Then he somehow just fails miserably like a dimwit and Mikasa has to save his ass... again.
It's kinda becoming annoying at this point. It's like every other character is good at something, but Eren just sucks at everything. He's impulsive, not particularly smart, not that good with that maneuver gear thing, sucks as a titan, even fucking dying he doesn't do it right...
Watched Blood Lad today, it's pretty short (10 episodes). It was funny and good enough, but it has the kind of endings I hate (e.i. no closure, needs second season, etc).

I wonder if there's anyone who enjoys those endings...

Eren is a terrible main character >.>
That's the kind of protagonist that will turn me away completely from watching a show, no matter how good the side characters are.

Yeah, those endings bug the crap out of me. No plot resolution. Build up only to be a lackluster ending. And no real character arcs.
That said, I am currently enjoying Servant x Service. Think "Working!" type of anime. Light hearted, slice of life, comedy, and a little romance thrown in with some very different, but interesting characters.

Haven't seen it yet, but I absolutely love the OP for it
Speaking of which, for some reason, I REALLY feel like watching "Stella Women's Academy" even tho I've seen nothing of it, read nothing about it, and I've only heard the OP...
Oh, and apparently Iguchi Yuka (Araragi Tsukihi, Index) and Tomatsu Haruka (Asuna) are voicing the main characters of some winter-season Yuri show...
I have to wonder who is more complex - Nami or Zoro. I think it's Nami, but Zoro definitely comes in at a close second. There are probably more complex people on the horizon but I'm only halfway through Season 2 of One Piece. Dat dratted Arlong!

You do realize that there are over 600 episodes that have been going for over 10 years, and its still going?
Good luck with THAT marathon.
Oh, and savepoints, give Servant x Service a look, I think you'll like it. 11 episodes so far.

Well, I never really watch shows as they're airing, but since I don't watch anime as often atm, and I usually don't marathon shows (or even watch through them very quickly, unless they're VERY good), then I can probably start watching it next week, and not be done before the last episode airs, or atleast very close to that.
Now, for some real talk!
Madoka: Rebellion Story
The third movie, a continuation of the series, will air on October 26th in Japan, and in the United States, Canada, and France this winter. It has been revealed that ClariS and Kalafina will perform the movie's opening theme "Colorful" and ending theme "Kimi no Gin no Niwa" (Your Silver Garden), respectively.
Here's the latest trailer for the movie.
Now, here's where it gets interesting. Around 0:19 or so, you hear Homura saying "Who are you?" while showing a picture of Madoka. This is probably done to trick people into thinking Homura has forgotten about Madoka (there are other things to "support" this theory, which we'll talk about later), but I think it's something different. See, there's been an announcement that Kana Asumi ((Nyarko in "Nyarko-san", Popura in "Working!!") will be voicing a completely new character - Nagisa Momoe. Nothing's currently known about her; not why she became a magical girl, nor her role in the movie.
Nagisa Momoe
Here's a preview (sort of) of some things to come, starring Madoka's VA and some other chick (might be Sayaka's VA, not sure). It's all in Japanese, but the pictures are still nice...
Theories and Speculation
There's currently a small theory floating around, because Nagasi basically uses the same color scheme as Charlotte did, and their eyes look very similar. So basically the theory assumes the movie is taking place in a new timeline, where Nagasi later falls to despair and turns into Charlotte. Technically, on its own this theory wouldn't work, because of Madokami. HOWEVER, if you combine this with the theory (and the PV) that Charlotte became a magical girl and a witch during a very short timespan, during episode 3 (while they were visiting the hospital), then it makes a bit more sense. In this case, it could mean that either Nagasi becomes a magical girl under other circumstances (not because of her dying mother), or because things are so different, she meets the others so that she doesn't fall into despair. It's hard to tell, since we don't know exactly how Madokami functions. In the PV, around 2:17 you can also see Mami holding Charlotte, which is... weird...
Second thing would be the scene where we see Homura and Mami fighting each other. Nothing's known about this, but I bet some serious shit goes down for this to happen.
Then we also have the "Nightmare" thing they talk about (again, not entirely sure WHAT they're saying, and just going by pictures mostly). Basically, the "Nightmare" seems to reside in what appears to be a labyrinth, but these shouldn't exist in the Madokami universe, right? Well, that brings us to another theory, and the question of "where does Rebellion fit in?".
The first movie, "Hajimari no Mongatari" translates to "Beginning story", and that's exactly what it is. The second movie, "Eien no Monogatari" translates to "Eternal Story", and (probably) refers to Madoka's wish. The third movie, "Hangyaku no Monogatari" translates to "Rebellion Story", but we currently don't know where this fits in. There are some things to take note of for this theory to work, though.
Homura has her shield back. Homura doesn't have Madoka's ribbons. Sayaka is alive. Madoka is shown in "human form" (?). Labyrinths seem to exist.
This could all refer to the fact that the 3rd movie takes place in yet another timeline.
Now, let's think about what we know. At the end of the series, after Madoka alters the universe, Homura still has her powers during the alteration process, and that's why she's the only one who remembers everything. However, later on, when she's talking to Kyubey, we see that she no longer has her shield (and thus not her powers, since they're connected). Instead, she has some sort of wings and Madoka's bow. In the movie, she'd have to get them back somehow, which would probably mean "undoing" Madoka's wish, to return to the previous timelines (or something like that).
The ribbons could've obviously been given away, or dropped, but you could also think about it like this. Everytime we've seen Homura turn back time, she's woken up in her bed, with her hair and glasses exactly the same, everytime. So if she went back in time somehow, then that'd mean she lost the ribbons in the process.
Sayaka being alive is a big one. In Madokami's timeline, Sayaka is confirmed dead, and is seen together with the spirit of Madoka. This means that for Sayaka to be alive, the story would have to take place in another timeline.
4th one is sort of a longshot, but basically it's the fact that Homura is shown in her school uniform, instead of her Magical Girl costume. Maybe she can change at will, or MAYBE Homura somehow undid Madoka's wish, when she made a new timeline.
Labyrinths were the lairs of witches, and did not exist in Madokami's timeline. For them to exist again, witches would have to exist, and for witches to exist, there can be no Madokami.
So, the conclusion would be that Homura somehow finds a way to revert time, so she can see Madoka again, and that's her "rebellion" (against Madoka's wish). It could make sense though, since her powers are removed (or changed) after Madoka's wish. This could happen because the time-manipulation powers might be able to interfere with Madoka's wish, and as such they were removed as a "safety measure". But now, if she somehow got them back, and resets the timeline, then that would mean Madoka's wish is undone, and Homura has dooomed every magical girl, just so she could see Madoka again.
Final thing to talk about is THIS. This is Sayaka's sword stabbing (and breaking) Homura's shield mechanism. This is weird, cuz the shield is SUPPOSED to be indestructable (as seen in the fight against Walpurgis Nacht), yet here the mechanism seems to break. Now, this would mean that Homura can't use her time-manipulation powers. The fact that Sayaka does this, and the fight with Mami also makes it seem like they're really pissed, or want to make sure Homura doesn't change time again.
NEW SHIT
So, there's some sort of poster related to the 3rd movie, with a hidden message on it... The writing on Kyoko's sleeve reads "ゴメンナサイ" (gomen nasai), which means "I'm sorry". As of now, we haven't seen anything from any trailers or previews that Kyoko has to be sad about, so at the moment we can only assume that it's either because of the fact that she can't stop Sayaka from becoming a witch, or it's related to the Nightmare shown in the preview.

In any case, the movie can't air soon enough, (or rather, the BD can't ship soon enough), and hopefully it'll be just as good, if not better than the series (tho that'd be difficult to pull off...)!
