Mahou Shoujo Taisen - Episode 3 Impressions - (6/10):
It's pretty much exactly the same as it was in the first episode. Unless it does something horrible, I don't really see a reason dropping it, especially since it's so short, but it'll probably never do anything great either...
---------------------------------

Escha & Logy no Atelier: Tasogare no Sora no Renkinjutsushi - Episode 3 Impressions - (5/10) - DROPPED:
Screw this, not even gonna give this 3 episodes. I absolutely can't stand Escha, and the episodes themselves are just so dull to me. I have no intention of ever playing this game (or any in the series), neither before or after watching this, so I really don't see what this could do for me.
---------------------------------

Black Bullet - Episode 3 Impressions - (7/10):
Still liking this, but do have some minor gripes with it. First of all, it feels just a bit rushed, and they also apparently changed quite a few things from the manga, which makes it a lot less dark or portray characters in a really different way (and a worse way at that). If they sort all of that out, then it's cool, because everything that was awesome about the first episode is still there.
---------------------------------

Break Blade (TV) - Episode 3 Impressions - (7/10):
I feel like this show is moving pretty fast, which is fine for the most part, however I also feel like some parts of the story are a bit of a mess. I think that'll all get cleared up as the story progresses, though, as parts of it has already been explained through flashbacks. Hoping to see more of the Break Blade itself soon, and not just "look how high it jumps :O".
---------------------------------

On another note, I've been thinking about watching Hunter x Hunter (2011). According to a lot of people, this is like THE shounen (as in long running shounen and all) to watch if you're not really into that stuff. It's also supposed to have a pretty complex and in-depth magic system, which I tend to love, so that could be cool. I don't know though, since I've never watched anything this long (and it's still going, and now the manga is back, so even more stuff coming up), so would be good to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this. If anything, how far do you think one should watch before judging it for real (since it's so long, it might take a bit longer to get going for real, I guess). I'm thinking I'll try and watch 1 or 2 episodes every few days, so I'll catch up to it in not too long.

Agreed about damidaler. I don't mind series that don't take themselves seriously, but this is just random sex jokes thrown at you. I dropped it too.

And Isshuken Friends is more of a "laid back" comedy, when it happens, but I'm liking it too. Sucks for that girl though.

Mecha in general, I just can't really get into. The exception being Zoids and Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki and it's sequal/spin offs (okay, other than one, not really mecha, but mecha do make appearances).

Don't know about you, but personally I'd say my problem is not so much the robots themselves, but rather how the series are structured. See, I have no problem with a show focusing on giant robots fighting, but the fact that they all seem to follow pretty much the same formula, which in itself is rather dull, is what throws me off. So unless they have good characters or story besides the mecha, then it's suddenly just 20 minutes of two giant pieces of metal hitting each other for dumb reasons. This is pretty much the same reason I can't bother with long-running shounens either. Then again, even with good content, the mecha battles can be quite boring, depending on how they're made (usually "real robots" are pretty boring to watch, imo).

When the mecha are not in focus (GC, Wizard Barristers), then usually it doesn't make any difference to me, but when they're the main focus (Captain Earth, Sidonia no Kishi, Break Blade (to name a few airing)), then I'm usually a lot more "worried" (so to speak), because of the aforementioned.

Captain Earth is cool so far, cuz I really like the characters, but if that changes, I'll prob end up dropping it. Sidonia will prob get dropepd at ep 3, and Break Blade is also cool, cuz it's got a lot of stuff going on beside the mecha.

Finished episode 9 of Psycho Pass in class today (Yeah, watching anime in school, sue me) it actually seems a lot better than the impression of the first few episodes gave off. I like how the show has picked up and has an overall interlocking plot with things that seemed like they wouldn't connect at all.

If only...

No Game No Life - Episode 3 Impressions - (9/10):
Definitely my contender for AotS so far. Sora and Shiro are by far the best duo in any of the shows of this season, and it's pure joy watching every single scene. I simply love how they manage to take the most ordinary of games, and turn them into some of the most intense things I've seen in anime in a long time. Really satisfied with this one.
---------------------------------

Hitsugi no Chaika - Episode 3 Impressions - (7/10):
This is still cool. I like the mix between action and comedy, and eyebrow's way of talking bugs me a lot less than expected. Not much else to say here...

Nanana's Buried Treasure is actually pretty good so far... They like to use the really cliched jokes, but the plot itself seems REALLY interesting and it has it's own original content I've never thought of before, so I'm enjoying it. Interested to see what direction this show could possibly take.

Mekakucity Actors is pretty solid so far, I like the art style and how they've adapted the songs that I recognize into an actual show. I'm interested as to what they do with my favorite songs (Souzou Forest, in particular) and hope it stays in a solid direction.

Planning to pick up No Game No Life in a few days, but not tonight.

I actually laughed pretty hard at that one. I was more referencing the maid thing.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? - Episode 3 Impressions - (7/10):
God damn, this is too cute. It's definitely a good show to watch in between all the darker/action stuff of this season. Chino and Rize are by far my favorite characters so far, as they're also two of the funniest characters on the show, in addition to being absolutely adorable. Will definitely keep watching this.
---------------------------------

Ping Pong - Episode 3 Impressions - (8/10):
This just keeps surprising me with how good it actually is. Even more so because the ping pong games themselves are not even the best parts (not that they're bad, however), but rather the writing and the characters. I really like Smile, especially, and his view on everything that happens, and I think the robot-hero is a great way to symbolize everything he does. Definitely a very good show, and more people should give it a try even if they don't like sports anime or like the art at first.

It's unlikely for anything to actually happen, but it's kinda neat for Gainax to even tease the possibility.

Alright, impressions time since I caught up on my airing shows:

Mekakucity Actors: (Currently 8/10)
Seems like they're having everything tie together in different ways, episode three showed that especially. I feel like if it keeps this up, it'll be really solid. Also, they introduced the best character this show!

No Game No Life: (Currently 9/10)
When I heard people talk about this, I had some speculations. After watching the first three episodes, I can see where all the hype comes from. This show is glorious, and there's not one aspect of it that I can think of that would be a downside. The two main characters are by far the main reason the show is great.

Nanana's Buried Treasure: (Currently 8/10)
Great show, nice sense of humor. Has a little bit of a romance thing starting up, which I kinda find cool. The ruins (where the treasure is located) are really cool, and I'm interested to see what other things they will use as traps and what not. Characters are all pretty solid, as well.

Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara (Currently 4/10) This shit is loosing ground fast. IT started out decent but now they just seem to be piling up random shit and harem fan service crap. Going to give it one more ep and then drop it if it sucks.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to. (Currently 5/10) Standard comedy based on being suggestive and sex. Kinda fun kinda boring. Score is low since it has no originality, just different setting same cookie cutter shit.

Black Bullet (Currently 8/10 maby 9) so far. Like the theme and that it seems darker. Not so much the story where everyone survives and defeats the bad guy by being nice. Depending on how this goes it can be great.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou (Currently 9-10/10) I love this one, the art is fantastic and somewhat original characters, hopefully this one don't end up like so many other of these do, no plot advancement and just killing time.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? (?/10) Can't really rate this, it seems fairly brainless and annoying but at the same time it's cute and (Funny) I'l wait another 2 episodes before judging this one.

Hitsugi no Chaika (Currently 6/10) Liking it so far except the useless main character that is super fucking useless at everything aka. Magic girl. Hopefully some development will push it in the right direction.

No Game No Life (Currently 9/10) Great art, original idea, the Ecchi tag is whats bothering me, it can mean absolutely nothing or fully blown asstastic mega super duper FAN SERVICE! Continuing this until they fuck up, if ever.

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin (Currently 6/10) The story seems good, and that's about it nothing out of the ordinary so far. TO much computer animated for me as they always make it look awful, clunky and robotic.

Not new stuff.

Black bullet is superb, love the art mood and story. Dark futuristic setting with an actual psychopath as a bad guy. Funny with the system and everything so i will watch it an enjoy every second.

Nisekoi is finally picking up the pace a bit, just a very small bit. It's annoying when they stretch shit out for so long, if they are using a second season for revealing shit i'm probably not watching it.

This is my thought so far.
