I'm pretty sure the only thing like that I've seen is Teen Titans (wasn't Robin in that as well?), tho I guess that's a lot more geared at kids...

Yeah, Robin was in that. Still entertaining. That said, there is now a Teen Titans Go! airing. The only good thing I've heard about it, is that it brought back the original voice cast from the first series.

Also a bit of a side note, but still related, Raven from Teen Titans ends up having a pretty crappy life from the time of conception.

Nanana's still uneventful, and kinda dull at this point.

Black Bullet still loli-tastic.

and No Game No Life still being as amazing as everyone has expected.

Let's see how these shows finish out.

The ending to the last episode of Nanana's Treasure did get me wondering why she wouldn't want her killer found and why she vanished out of no where like nothing ever happened.

Black Bullet, just not a post-apocylptic person myself.

No Game No Life had a hell of a twist there, I'll admit.

Still watching the Flag show and Dragonar. Both are now getting into the "meat" of the plot, so to speak.

Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei are still going strong.

On Soredemo, I've noticed something. In most shounen, seinen, etc series that supposedly take place in fantasy worlds that are supposed to be completely different from ours, they still have quite a bit of Japanese culture thrown in. In Soredemo (a shoujo series, and a surprisingly good one that isn't as sappy as most shoujo tends to be and has really good art), the cultures (shown) are actually pretty distinct. Though the J-Pop sounding rain song does kind of throw it off a bit, it is at least done well. I understand that most series are going to have Japanese influence since they are made in Japan, but in a fantasy world like One Piece which does have samurai, and ninjas are thrown in there, as well as slightly different varients of katana, but overall, it establishes so many different cultures and everything that you can believe it is a different world. Others tend to be a slightly different variation of medieval Japan.

Rant/obvservation over.

Probably because she wants to spend more time with Juugo or something like that.

So, been catching up to some shows, after spending a long time doing intense school work and watching western stuff...

No Game No Life is still pretty amazing, and no surprise there. How they handled what happened in episode 7 could've totally ruined the series, I think, but fortunately it was resolved quickly, and in a good way, so no problems at all here. Probably still my #1 contender for AotS. (9/10)

Mekakucity Actor is also still pretty good, however it does make me worry a bit. See, afaik it's only gonna be 1 cour, meaning 3 more episodes, meaning no way in hell that they wrap it up. Now, having multiple seasons is obviously not a bad thing in itself, but it would mean they used this entire season to more or less just introduce the characters one by one, which feels kinda... y'know... Still, the rest of it is really just SHAFT shining, which is always awesome! (8/10)

Mahouka is sort of slow, imo, since it's all about him keeping his shit secret, but at the same time being all OP and doing OP stuff, and they just want to live a normal school life, so it's only when we get stuff like the facility infiltration that it really picks up, I think. Still, at least the setting and all is interesting, and so are a lot of the characters, so I don't particularly mind it (except for Miyuki...). (8/10)

You know what the sad thing is about Mahouka? The anime has now passed the translated manga. :-/

I kinda feel like Nanana dropped in quality a bit. It still has a lot going for it, but it just feels like it doesn't really know what it wants, or that it tries to do a bit too much. I would've much more enjoyed the series simply being about finding the collection and Nanana's killer, and all the fun lighthearted stuff that came in between, and as such I think the whole thing with Yuugo's life is just sort of... meh. (7/10)

Yeah, seems like they are cramming a bit too much into it. Still pretty good. At least it didn't turn out like the Harry Potter rip off last season. Started out so promising, and 3 episodes in, fell flat on it's face.

And so ends Date A Live 2. All in all, not a bad season, certainly better than a certain sequal season with a similar setup, but with mechas. A 7/10 I give it. Nothing special, but nothing horrible either. Action, comedy, romance, and even quite a bit of tension and build up in the last few episodes. Would like to see more of the MC's little sister(s), just for character development, but still, I'm satisfied with it.

I did not expect a dude singing Souzou Forest...

Still, I'm happy to see it in the show.
