Then again, it aired like just a few hours ago, so if you wait, it'll probably be subbed and put on KissAnime in a bit.
I'll try crunchyroll, but the streaming sites I usually use, tend to have the english subbed versions up pretty quickly.
Don't know if you use CR usually (again, assume not since I guess finding Gekkan wouldn't have been a problem in that case), so I sent you a 48-hour guest pass, so you can actually watch it in HD and whatnot (I never use these passes for anything, so even if you don't actually want it, I don't really care <.<).[/quote]Hey thanks! And no, normally I don't use cruncchyroll.

I made a crunchyroll account years ago, but I don't remember what it was. And too lazy to set up a new account. Thanks though!

Holy shit! Just read the most recent chapter of History's Strongest disciple Kenichi, and the next issue, the 12 year long series ends! Hopefully a more satisfying end than the Negima series.

I remember reading a manga once. Pretty sure it was the Detective Conan one (the guy who gets turned into a kid), but I think I borrowed it from the library or something, so only read like the first volume. Thought it was pretty good at the time (it was a really long time ago), but it wasn't until recently that I found out it's a GIANT long-running series.

Actually, I read another manga as well (technically it's a manhwa, since it's korean apparently); Ragnarok. Barely remember anything from it, but probably thought it was pretty cool, cuz Norse mythology is pretty cool.

Well, it just hit the climax of the current arc, and then announced it was ending. Just very sudden.

Season 4 of Korra announced for October 3rd! (Nick's website sucks tho, so can't link any source).

Kinda sad how Nick just don't give a fuck anymore, and just want it done with. At the same time, I'm pretty sure Bryke has said they're done with Avatar for a while, but hopefully, if they decide to return, they'll have a better partnership than with Nick. Korra is not ATLA. Korra is a young-adults show, marketed at kids, aired on a channel for kids. Of course it's not gonna work out like they want it to.

I think Korra could have worked on the older Nickelodeon, when they were willing to take more risks and seemed to have a general audience feel instead of strictly kids. One good partner for them could be Cartoon Network. An Avatar and Adventure Time block would work pretty well.

Yeah, Nick be messing with them. Cartoon Network would be a good place for the Avatar series, could even do the original on Boomerang.

But at least we don't have to wait long to see how Korra ends. Because season 3 ended up, in some ways, better than The Last Airbender. And that's saying something. But Nick, I don't know about them anymore. They used to have some pretty good shows on, hell, they were, I think, the first network for kids. Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold (like an animated sitcom), and probably my guilty pleasure, the Rugrats series. Also, can't forget AAAH! Real Monsters either.

Some good shows. But now, with their one actual good series, they just kind of threw it under the bus.

In the past, Nick seemed to give a damn about quality and they treated their audience like they had a brain. Now, it's all about appealing to the lowest common denominator. Just check out some of their new stuff like Breadwinners. I don't know what happened to the company, but damn I wish it would reverse course.

Last episode of Aldnoah.Zero next week, pretty hyped with what they set up for a finale.

SAOII's GGO arc looks like it'll be ending in the next two or three episodes, pretty hyped for the arc after. Really hoping they do Mother's Rosario instead of an arc like Caliber. I need my Asuna time.

Also, catching up on Zankyou no Terror. Still doing a really good job of the terrorism and all of that, and the mind games between now three different groups of people. The English from Five is incredibly awful though. Probably the worst I've ever heard.

You may very well be right about that... Just like, holy shit...

AND ALDNOAH HYPE OH MY GOD!!! Question is, how long will we have to wait for season 2?

I'm hoping for something like Chaika and it'll be announced for Winter. Just a season gap.

But it'll probably be longer. I'm too hyped for it. Would definitely be AotS if I didn't have such a bias towards SAOII.

It probably IS AotS for me, but could easily be overtaken by Barakamon if it does the slightest thing wrong. Then again, I haven't watched Barakamon in a while, so maybe that kinda lost its charm.

In other news, I've been catching up to some Tokyo Ghoul, and while I love this series, I can't help feeling every now and then how it'd probably so much more enjoyable to watch if I just put it to the side, and waited for the DVD/BD release. Sure, the censorship isn't bad enough that it ruins an entire episode when it comes around, but not only is it really inconsistent, but coloring half the screen black when a dudes arm gets cut off just feels like such bullshit when shows like Akame ga Kill and even Tokyo ESP can get away with so much more gruesome stuff.

TL;DR: Fuck Japanese censorship. Seriously. Bring on Under the Dog!

Mahouka is getting kind of intense these last couple of episodes. And also bloody, if you like that. Like people's arms getting sliced off with major blood spurtage.

I like it, gore is necessary for it to feel realistic not the explosions of blood and body parts that some use but the fact that if you cut someones arm of shit gonna bleed.
