Finished season 1 of Fate/Zero (I tend to just view them both as one tho, but w/e), and I just realized how awful it must've been to watch this airing. I mean, seriously, season 1 ends right as one of the coolest fights is about to start, and they had to wait several months (I think) to see that. Anyway, I'm surprised at how easy I find rewatching this is. Like, most of the time, I have trouble marathoning stuff, and I also have trouble rewatching stuff alone, because I simply lack the patience for it, so combining those two would work even worse, but even though there was a few days in between, I pretty much finished this season in 2 sittings.

I guess the point is that I downright love this show. I even raised it from an 8 (had both seasons as 8, because when I got MAL, I couldn't remember much of F/Z at all, so) to a 10, and I'm fairly sure that when I'm done, it'll take a spot in my top 10.

Yea, it was a season gap between the seasons (Skipped over winter).

It's just that, for example, I'm finding it hard enough to wait for Tokyo Ghoul and Aldnoah.Zero (8 and 9 respectively, as opposed to the 10 of F/Z), and they air next season, and they also didn't have nearly as cliffhanger endings (A.Z kinda did, but it's more of a "Conclusive cliffhanger" so to speak...)

Liking Magic Kaito 1412 quite a bit. Has that 1980s to early 1990s look to it. Only thing I'm not crazy about are the noses, as they are long, pointy, and curl up to the sky. But otherwise, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Akatsuki no Yona. Set in a medieval-esque era, it's becoming quite intriguing. Basically, the princess of the kingdom of Kouka celebrates her 16th birthday with her friends and family, and even receives a present from her unrequited lover interest, who is also her cousin, Soo-Won. That night, Soo-Won stages a coup by running the king through the heart with a sword and having his troops and the guards loyal to him take over. The princess, who ends up accidentally witnessing Soo-won kill her father has a mental breakdown (understandable, her cousin, whom she loves dearly, killed her father in cold blood in front of her eyes). She manages to escape the room, but is soon captured by Soo-won's troops. Luckily for her, her childhood friend and one of the 5 Generals, Hak, saves her neck (literally) in the nick of time. The two eventually make their escape, thanks to the sacrifice of a dear friend of theirs who disguises himself as the princess to distract the guards. They then escape to the mountains, where the episode ends.

Chaika 2: First impressions (7/10)

Basically same old Chaika, just more of it. Only one major plot point so far, but it's only the first episode, so it's not really surprising. I'm wondering where they're going to take it and if they'll reveal anything this season or drag it out to a third one.

Finished season 2 of Fate/Zero. 10/10. For the entire thing. Just holy shit.

To be honest, I'm not sure why I find it so different now, than when I first watched it. Maybe you could argue that I've watched a lot of stuff between now and then, and now I actually "know what I like", so to speak, because I originally watched this very early in my anime career. But it's seriously practically everything I love in a series. Adding to that the incredible production value from Ufotable, and it's hard to say it's anything but an awesome series. Replaced WC with it on my MAL top 5 (both are still in my top 10 tho), so now all my MAL favorites are all dark and shit (PP, SSY, Madoka, S;G, F/Z).

At the same time, it was probably a good thing I rewatched it, because there were some things I'd totally forgotten about...

There are some questions that popped into my head tho, but I don't know if they'll be answered in F/SN...

Now I just find it that much worse to wait each week for F/SN tho... One of the things I really want to see, for whatever reason, is the new Archer's Noble Phantasm (and trying really hard not to google it, so I can actually get to see it when it comes up). While I did try playing the F/SN VN the other day (fate route), I realized it's prob gonna spoil a lot of things for UBW route as well, and I'd rather see stuff animated the first time around if possible, so gonna just finish F/SN, then wait for F/HF, and then if I still have the interest, read the sequel (which name I can't remember) and finally watch Fate/Kaleid.

As for now, I hope I can keep up this same watching interest that I've had this period, and finish off some older shows on my list, and then I'm probably gonna give Kara no Kyoukai a go.

Psycho Pass 2 First Impressions: 8/10

I'm liking the stark contrast between the new Inspector and the old one, with how they think. One being the "No mercy" type while the other is willing to give second chances to those who feel like they deserve it. I'm not sure how they'll be able to top the villain from season one, but the expectations are high for this show, and I'll be keeping a close eye on it while it airs.

So it's almost dumber than I thought. GG.

Also, gave in and looked up Archer's Noble Phantasm. Turns out, as opposed to most heroes phantasms, I just read what I assume is an insanely huge spoiler... That's nice...

You would be correct about that. I hope you didn't find anything else about Archer, though.

So I mean, I technically found out about Archer's identity, which kinda sucks...

Eh. At least you didn't spoil everything. His identity is kind of a give away when you actually think about it, though.
