Is fate stay night like the phantom menace of the fate/ series?

Basically.

It was the worse thing I've ever set my eyes on.

Yeah... it's... fuck. Don't watch. The first episode made me want to light myself on fire while piranhas ate me alive. I think I'll watch the second episode now.

Fate/Zero was a prequel to Fate/Stay Night, and Carnival Phantasm is a parody series making fun of the flaws in all of Type-Moon's works that they did.

Fate/Zero would have basically been the perfect anime if it didn't have to take care of the half-retarded brother that came before it.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (Demon King and Hero): This show started pretty recently, like a month ago, but, five episodes in and I'm in love. The basic premise is that there is a war going on between the Human realm and the Demon realm, with the Human realm possessing a band of skilled warriors who made significant progress in the war. However, one the warriors goes on by himself to defeat the Demon King. When the Hero arrives, he find that the Demon King is in fact a girl who wishes to take the Hero for herself, and he promptly rejects her. This show is funny, cute, and at times a bit fan servicey but at the same time dealing with topics such as war, poverty, racism and much more. This show is very smart, it's romance is cute, and the plot is great. Watch it.

Been watching it as well. Takes the war at a different angle than what you'd normally see in such series.

Yeah. They don't make it so clear cut which is nice. I also like how the Hero starts out with his very naive view but doesn't change his character after seeing things in a different way.

I heard that went really downhill after the first half.

I thought it was fantastic and I absolutely enjoyed every second of it.

I guess it's because the tone of the series changes a lot. The first half is much more comedic and lighthearted. Then it's just plain depressing.

So Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works actually wasn't THAT bad.

They made Caster a fucking badass though, which is cool. Even though I kinda liked her mushy gushy personality more.

Also, holy shit Lancer they made you like the opposite of what you were in the anime series.

Alright, not gonna lie, that was probably one of my favorite movies I've ever seen.

Yeah, the hero is one of those guys that is all about doing things the right way. A likeable character. Not the brightest guy, but still enjoyabe.

Almost done with Mirai Nikki. Still fucks me up, but i like it. Seems like these darks animes arent my cup of tea. Totaly forgot where i left of on death note, but i'm gona have to pick that one up again.

Anyway, i'm looking for some lighter and a bit less intense animes. I got the advice to watch Code Geass, but i kinda want some more. I remember someone had an excell page with animes, if you feel like it sned me plox.
