Neither. You will receive a warning effective across the entire board. Just don't. @Raine, Watched all of the videos he's put up and, well, it actually looks kinda interesting. Could definitely use more polish and features, especially since the dere part of it seems to really take a backseat compared to the yan-part, but seeing how this is a one-man project, it looks really good. Watched the first episode of The Rolling Girls and I can definitely see why everyone is really enjoying this anime. It does a great job of blending the slice of life elements with over the top action. |

Yuri Kuma Arashi - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10): I was very torn on this series, but ultimately I've decided to drop it. This is my first time watching any work by Ikuhara, although I've seen a lot of people say this is him really pushing the limits, which I think makes sense. I don't exactly have a problem with the story being told almost entirely through symbolism, but more with just how slowly it's all moving along. Each episode, we get a lot of "reused footage" with different dialog and whatnot, and the way I understand it is that this is also common to Ikuhara's works. The only real problem I have with it in this case is that it slows down the storytelling a bit too much, and every episode I'm forced to sit through the most annoying scene in the entire series ("Yuri Approved"). On top of this, the characters don't have anything going for them. I know Kureha's name, but could not even attempt to name any of the other characters, because I just don't think they have any trait whatsoever that separates them from the rest of the cast. This is all a bit too bad, since the message the series is trying to convey (about homosexuality and growing up) is a good one, it's just that it's covered in too much crap this time around. --------------------------------- Kantai Collection: KanColle - Episode 3 Impressions - (7/10): Holy shit. The turn this took from cutesy moe SOL was just way too unexpected. Nevertheless, it's awesome if they stick with it. Up until this episode, I thought this was a great mix of moe SOL and action, and now we've got that last ingredient that was missing to really make this shine. The CGI is definitely holding up in terms of quality, which is awesome, and my problem regarding the "one-liners" from the game appears to be of the past. I hope they can make something good out of this, and that they stick to this tone for the remainder of the series. Could be really good. --------------------------------- Edited by savepoints, Jan 21 2015, 02:41 PM.

What you described of Kantai Collection "SOL and moe" is exactly what turned me off from even watching it. Too many shows with that premise that suck the IQ out of their audiences (K-On being the biggest perpetrator of this, considering there are people who even celebrate K-On's characters' birthdays, with birthday cakes. Kind of disturbing actually). SOL comedy that doesn't focus so damn much on "moe!" crap is fine, but when it's over the top, I stay away from it. |

HEY! WATCH YOUR MOUTH! Actually, who cares. SOL series are basically something with one purpose, fill time and make the watcher feel (happy). It's like cartoons but for slightly older mentally challenged men like me. |

K-On isn't a bad show. It's just the fan base is terrible. It's like Hetalia, but less of teenage girls and more of random creepy men on the internet. |

K-On isn't terrible, but even most SOL series at least have something going on in them. K-On really doesn't outside of what kind of dessert they're going to have. And the rabid obsession some of it's fans have with it is definitely off-putting. |

KanColle is sort of what I imagine Girls und Panzer to be. Or maybe even Sora no Woto, but a bit more action. So far, there hasn't been all too many battles, and so the rest of the time has been spent getting to know the characters basically, and since they're all (young) girls, some things just inherently steer towards the moe side of things. However, there hasn't really been anything over the top in that regard, and with the 180 in tone the show might've possibly done now, we'll have to see how it really turns out. Tokyo Ghoul √A - Episode 3 Impressions - (8/10): There's definitely no arguing that it's been somewhat of a slow start. We're getting glimpses of Agori and various other action scenes, but a lot of it is mostly showing how the characters are handling the events of the first season, which I'm totally fine with, to be honest. This way, we'll get to know the characters better again (which may be needed for some) before things really go all out in the action-department. These first few episodes have also raised a handful of questions (regarding the twins, what Kaneki's actual goal is, etc), which I'm actually really interested in getting to know the answer of, so I'm completely fine with less action as of now. On top of that, whenever there actually is an action scenes, they're really well done, and not censored to kingdom come anymore, which is awesome. --------------------------------- |

Koufuku Graffiti- So far, it's just a relaxed series, somewhat about food/cooking, but also about the interactions between Ryo (main character) and her second cousin. It's relaxing, funny, and has "erotic eating". Yeah, "erotic eating". No other way to really describe it. It's not like they do it naked or anything (no ecchi stuff in it), just the way it's portrayed. I give it a 7.5 out of 10 so far. Not a great series, but it does have it's own charm. |

Elfen Lied: 5/10. I found this to be really boring to be honest. Never got in to the story and just felt flimsy most of the time. The ending was decent and all but other that it was pretty boring. |

Well, the creator of RWBY and action scene director of Red vs Blue (and known for a long list of other awesome animated videos), Monty Oum, passed away from a severe allergic reaction to a simple medical procedure. http://roosterteeth.com/news/entry.php?id=5448468 |

I agree with you on the series itself, but why is it that you thought the ending, out of everything, was "decent"? Also, in other news, I feel like I've hit somewhat of an anime slump. Haven't watched anything in a couple weeks, since I've been occupied with other things. I did, however, actually buy my very first BD. This is probably the first time in my life I've actually bought a movie, but I just had to. Bought the 3-disc version of Wolf Children. |
