Elfen Lied: 5/10. I found this to be really boring to be honest. Never got in to the story and just felt flimsy most of the time. The ending was decent and all but other that it was pretty boring.
I agree with you on the series itself, but why is it that you thought the ending, out of everything, was "decent"?

Also, in other news, I feel like I've hit somewhat of an anime slump. Haven't watched anything in a couple weeks, since I've been occupied with other things. I did, however, actually buy my very first BD. This is probably the first time in my life I've actually bought a movie, but I just had to. Bought the 3-disc version of Wolf Children.
Ending explanation for Dave

On another topic, censor is back to what it used to be in Tokyo Ghoul, shame really.

Ending explanation for Dave
The ending is actually more of a "read the manga" type of ending, and it's been a while since I saw this, so I might be forgetting some stuff, but

The ending was decent, typo in the explanation. Compare decent vs shit it seems kinda ok.

Log Horizon S2 have been a huge disappointment, I've never been so bored, it's a Sol series wit ought any decent SOL content. I would have dropped it long ago if not for the first season.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso.
Well, it ain't over, but it's pretty clear where it's headed. And without spoiling anything, yet voicing my opinion on it thus far?

Damn. Just, damn. And I mean that in the Tali crying over her father and built up with frustration at the whole thing in ME2 kind of damn. Why? Watch the show.

We already know how it's going to end. It's how we get there at this point.

Caught up on Death Parade yesterday and there's something from episode 4 I have to give it a lot of credit for.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso.

More like holy fucking shit-gatsu.

This show just keeps surpassing my already extremely high expectations. Definitely 10/10, and probably in my top 5 if the last 4 episodes keep up this pace, which I'd honestly be surprised if they didn't.

Isuca.
Seriously, went from action, comedy, and fantasy straight to slasher with people exploding into gallons of blood. Da fuck. Latest episode had some friends who were caught by a demon fused with cement, whom the main character hesitated on before firing the arrow, the friends get sucked in, the arrow hits and kills the demon and her friends scream in pain as the concrete returns to normal and they literally explode into fountains of blood. And apparently the main characters were supposed to know this, but no one said anything until AFTER it happened.

It's not even listed as a horror/slasher series, yet the last 2 episodes have people being killed and exploding into fountains of blood. SO not what I was looking for in a series. Others may like it, or at least don't mind it, but there is a reason I do not watch such shows. So, my view?
Fuck. This. Shit.

So, before I go back to watching stuff, I wanted to go in and clean up my list, and I dropped A LOT of stuff (almost everything from Spring, it feels like). I just either feel like I cba to waste time on watching mediocre shows "just because" anymore, and I'd probably never go back to watching these anyway. In any case, here's a quick write-up of said shows.
---------------------------------

Seiken Tsukai no World Break - Dropped @ Episode 1 - (6/10):
First episode wasn't all that good, and it's so obvious that it's just going to be a generic battle-shounen, really. The low rating it currently has on MAL (7.08) also indicates that it's not exactly doing anything extravagant.
---------------------------------

Akatsuki no Yona - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10):
While this show wasn't exactly bad, and I'm right where they'd probably start picking things up, I still feel like it doesn't really have anything that really pulls you in. I guess you'd say that it's a really decent series. Not bad, but not that good either.
---------------------------------

Sanzoku no Musume Ronja - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (5/10):
The only reason I didn't drop this earlier was more or less because I really wanted to see how they'd handle the story (since once again, I know it from my childhood and all), but I've come to the conclusion that they didn't handle it very well. The series, this far, has focused way too much on just the "being free and happy in the wild" thing, and since it's supposed to be 26 episodes, that means the series is also going to be really, really slow. The full-on CGI isn't exactly helping either, since ti doesn't look particularly good.
---------------------------------

Amagi Brilliant Park - Dropped @ Episode 4 - (7/10):
Another series that is definitely not bad by any means. The reason I drop this is more because it's too much SOL for me to finish at this point, and I'm still really disappointed that they haven't taken the mind-reading thing further, since that could've made for some really interesting situations.
---------------------------------

Gugure! Kokkuri-san - Dropped @ Episode 1 - (6/10):
Had some decent jokes and all, but at this point there's no way I'd finish a straight-up comedy series. That's it, really.
---------------------------------

Akuma no Riddle - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (4/10):
Bland characters, slow pacing, and I happen to know that the ending is one of the worst endings of the year, so bye bye.
---------------------------------

Black Bullet - Dropped @ Episode 11 - (6/10):
While you could argue that it's not a bad series, I had pretty high expectations from this show (even though I knew nothing about it initially), and it couldn't even begin to measure up to those expectations. It has some good things to it, like the world itself, and the fight scenes, but there's so much more that could've been done if they just wanted to go a step further. I also felt like the story was just way too jumbled (too many seemingly incoherent things happening).
---------------------------------

Break Blade - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10):
The pacing feels too slow, and so in the end, if I want to watch this I'll just watch the movies, which have a better pacing. Meaning there's really no reason to watch this (although there should be some differences from the movies).
---------------------------------

Gokukoku no Brynhildr - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10):
This also has some decent stuff going on. However, there's a lot of overused shounen tropes thrown in here, and a story that just makes zero sense, really.
---------------------------------

Hitsugi no Chaika - Dropped @ Episode 6 - (5/10):
Totally uninteresting story, and Chaika herself annoys me to no end. It's not cute, funny, or intriguing. Just annoying and dumb. It does have some balling fight scenes tho, so I'll give it that. But honestly, even the first episode of this just feels very off, in terms of pacing and characters and all.
---------------------------------

Isshuukan Friends. - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10):
Really slow SOL, so I'll never be able to pick this up and finish it, probably. I also feel like the memory loss thing causing trouble EVERY SINGLE EPISODE may get old really fast.
---------------------------------

Mahouka no Koukou no Rettousei - Dropped @ Episode 16 - (7/10):
Had pretty high expectations from this as well, and while the world itself actually delivers, the show is painfully slow. Nothing seems to go anywhere, ever. On top of that, the competition arc, which lasts for I don't know how long, completely kills the pacing of the series, and that feeling never really left me when I was watching past that (if I even got past that, I don't even know). Would've been cool if they used the world differently, I think. The actual magic, and fight scenes (the few there are) are actually really awesome to watch, even though you know he's so overpowered that he'll never lose.

The new anime chart seems, bland as fuck. quick skim and nothing interested me besides Nisekoi S2 since I've watched the first season. If it delivers as shitty as Tokyo Ghoul or Log Horizon i literally have nothing new to watch. As it is now i have a huge back catalog of unfinished series and old ones i'm planning to watch so i guess that is fine. The entire Winter was just a major letdown, Second seasons that was shit and new series that either does something poorly or something entirely bad.

At a closer look there are 3 items that pique my interest. Knights of Sidonia S2, Nisekoi as mentioned before and the second season of SNAFU.

There are quite a few shows I can see my self end up watching this spring.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka (this seriously need an official abbrevation)
Fate/Stay Night s2
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
Oregairu s2
Ninja Slayer (TRIGGER HYPE)
Kekkai Sensen (seems cool enough)

and then some stuff that I'm not really too sure about...

Grisaia no Keikyuu (gave first season a 6, but I still feel compelled to watch this for some reason...)
Triage X (thought this looked really cool at first, but this is allegedly going to be HotD levels of ecchi)

Only shows I currently enjoy watching every week are Shigatsu and Durararax2...

I'm still slowly watching Log Horizon 2, Aldnoah.Zero 2, and Tokyo Ghoul though.

Been looking at the myanimelist thing on Isuuca. Apparently all the subordinates that the family has do not die, at least not like inept idiots that probably should never have made it that far. Also, how the hell did these two candidates to become the head of their family EVER survive this long without the MC? Because they keep getting captured and almost die WITH the MC around. This is dropped.

For the Spring season, the ones that seem kinda interesting to me are:
Digimon Adventure Tri - I really liked the first three Digimon seasons, so I'll give the anniversary special series a shot

Kekkai Sensen - The setup seems interesting and I do like Bones' animation style.

Ghost In The Shell: Arise - Alternative Architecture - Because it's new Ghost in the Shell and I haven't seen any of the Arise movies yet.

Ninja Slayer - Because Trigger.

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu - I'll definitely check out a Haruhi spinoff and it'll be interesting to see more of that 'Disappearance' timeline.

Narudoma - I like surreal comedy, so I'll give it a shot. Even though it looks like it started as a Naruto fanfic.

I'd consider the newest Lyrical Girl Nanoha series if I saw anything after the second season. I should try to catch up on that at some point. Also, I might get though the first season of Nisekoi while the second is still airing.
