Koufuku Graffiti - Dropped @ Episode 3 - (6/10): Unfortunately, I don't think this is for me. While the level of SHAFT definitely increased in the last couple of episodes, there's way too little focus on the actual cooking (as in, the cooking process, as opposed to eating good food in a sensual way), and much more about them becoming friends with each other. On top of that, there's been a lot of dumb "drama" (if you'd go as far as to call it that), which felt so incredibly forced. At least it did fanservice in an interesting way. --------------------------------- Edited by savepoints, Feb 23 2015, 11:41 AM.

Gugure! Kokkuri-san. 8/10: Thoroughly enjoyed it, the Sol mix with comedy and just a tad bit of feels makes it very relaxing to watch. Kotoura-san. 6/10: It had good scores and a cool premise but to much cliche, decent enough. Edited by Pong, Feb 24 2015, 06:29 AM.

Yeah Kotoura-san did have a pretty interesting premise, and the drama in it actually had a good reason in it, rather than the usual BS about people not talking to each other and letting a misunderstanding grow out of hand, when a sentence or two would easily explain the situation. I'd give more of a 7/10 personally. |

For Nanatsu no Taizai, they've really sped through it quite a bit. It's not quite caught up with the manga, but it's really not that far behind. Though I do have a good idea of where the anime will end, barring a 2nd season. And the good thing, is that they really haven't cut out anything majorly important. They slightly altered one of the arcs, but overall, it does get the point across about as well as the manga. I seriously recommend both anime and manga. |

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend (Episode 3 thoughts) Just got into this show due to a suggestion from a friend, and I have to say it seems really promising. All of the characters are interesting and work well together, and it just seems overall well put together. I'd suggest giving it a go if you like these kinds of shows. |

It's cliche to the point it's making fun of itself with it. That's what I like about it. It's not cliche to the point it's just cliche to be cliche though. It actively makes fun of the fact at how cliche it is. |

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) final impressions: 10/10 This show was EVERYTHING I thought it would be, even up to the ending. Seems like your standard show about pianos and middle schoolers (middle schoolers are actually my only gripe about the show) But it somehow evolved into much, much more. Even the ending was incredibly well done. I can't really explain it for myself, other than to suggest it just being watched. This show has forced itself into my top five. |

I think that was one of the best match-ups so far. I mean, to the point where I would say that it could be on par with Death Billiards itself. Even looking past the development for Decim and the woman, there was so much happening, and so much intensity with the detective and the other guy. Especially the detective's speech near the end was really freaky, honestly, and I feel like this was also one of the more grey ones, so to speak. In the very end, it was hard to say who was sent where. While on the topic, episode 11 was so beautiful, and so sad in so many ways... Edited by savepoints, Mar 21 2015, 03:58 PM.

Log Horizon 2: (16/25) Dropped 6/10 Well, my expectations for this show were kind of shot with the beginning, it brightening up after about 6 episodes for another 6 episodes, and then went down the drain to the point I just completely stopped watching it. I heard it doesn't get any better past this point, so I just don't really want to watch it at all anymore unless a third season gets announced. I might give it a try again in the distant future, but right now I'm just completely disappointed with how it turned out. |

Okay, so a little off topic in a way, but what would happen in a DC Comics (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc) and Avatar series (Aang, Korra, some other Avatar, Toph, take your pick) crossover? Just something I've been thinking of (did a re-watch of Young Justice not long ago, and with Boom Tubes, access to other dimensions and planets is feasible, and the Avatar series has an entire different plane/world in the Spirit World). And super powered beings are not exactly rare in either world (avatar series has the benders with the Avatar as the most powerful and DC has a whole medley of super powered (and some non-super powered) beings as well). Just a thought. Back on topic, been reading the Akatsuki no Yona manga, and it's pretty good too. Over 90 chapters so far. And quite a bit of character development, and it's own world that the story is exploring. |

Speaking of crossovers, has anyone ever thought to do a DB/Inuyasha crossover? It's prolly one of those 'better in my head than for real' dealies but eh. |
