Speaking of crossovers, has anyone ever thought to do a DB/Inuyasha crossover? It's prolly one of those 'better in my head than for real' dealies but eh.
Not Inuyasha, but there was a crossover special with DBZ, Toriko, and One Piece. Needless to say, Goku was nerfed hardcore in order to keep it interesting.

Goku is the boring invincible hero. That must have been an interesting crossover.

For what it was, yeah.

Also, Goku has actually been killed. Most notably by Piccolo when holding his brother Raditz still.

Okay, review of Akatsuki no Yona.
24 episodes, and while normally I steer clear of reverse harems, as they tend to make regular harems look sensible most of the time, this one, doesn't. It's actually a pretty good story, with action, comedy, romance (and subsequent ripping out the heart and stomping on it), and adventure. It follows Yona, the red-haired (yes, that's important) princess of the Kingdom of Kouka, who has grown up in a very sheltered life in the royal palace, and forbidden to leave the grounds by her pacifist and over protective father. Other than this, she lives a fairly happy and care free life (in ignorance, not her fault) with her loyal bodyguard and childhood friend (and pretty badass) Hak and her cousin and romantic interest Soo-Won who visits her and cares for her.

Hak is not only her bodyguard, but also the leader of the Wind Tribe, one of 5 tribes that make up the base of power in Kouka, and is widely regaled as one of, if not the strongest warrior in the country, nicknamed the "Thunder Beast". Soo-Won, also being a childhood friend to both, has a natural talent in being able to get people to work for him loyally.

The background to this story is that the first King of Kouka, King Hiryuu, was actually the Red Dragon turned human, who was served loyally and without fail by 4 mighty warriors who each had the blood of the blue, white, green, and yellow dragons respectively.

Without going too much further in, otherwise I would be spoiling it, I ended up liking this series enough that I ended up reading the manga. I don't usually do that. I give this series a good 8.5/10. I deducted 1 point due to a ton of long flashbacks. But yeah, this series actually shows Yona growing and developing as a character throughout. Not just physically stronger, but mentally and emotionally as well.

Now if I could just find the complete english version of chapters 75-88 or so...

He gets killed, then he comes back. Then he gets killed, then he comes back. Think of Cell like a Goku that regenerates very slowly. If that even makes sense.

Well, the magi manga took a pretty dark turn. And not the "zombie apocalypse" or anything like that.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu: (10/10). This was horrific and nerve wracking through out, fantastic all around.

Saekano: (7/10). It was pretty meh, art was nice and it was fairly entertaining but let's be real, there really only was one main thing that this was rolling on, plot, plot and more plot action.

Aldnoah.Zero 2nd Season: (7/10). Honestly did not enjoy the second season as much, took the cold mc and made him opieOP, boring and the ending was kinda sour for no reason at all, (i know it was important in the story bla bla bla, they made worse choices than a happy ending throughout.)

Seiken Tsukai no World Break (Sub): (5/10). Dunno why i actually watched this one kinda just stuck with it for no real reason, passable for a happy end harem w/e the fuck it was. OpieOP MC kicks butt but kills no one and everything goes well YAY! Bad art and annoying voice actors as well as a poorly written plot. What more can you ask for.

The Seven Deadly Sins: (6-7/10). Was good throughout but the ending made it drop 2 points. CBA to write any more about it.

Tokyo Ghoul Root A: (5/10). Dunno what the fuck happened here, but the art was so fucking bad for most of the time and felt half assed to a point of intentional feeling of bad. Story was okay, but the ending felt forced in a really bad way. Art and story really set this season for a bad score.

Parasyte - Final Impressions - (10/10):
Man, this was so good. One of the best things is also how consistent it was, imo, so everything I've said in previous posts about this show actually still stands. Of course, that also means that the few bad parts were also present for the most part in the series, and while there weren't a lot of them, or not like they were that big, they were still there and bothered me a bit. One of those is the romance drama between Murano and Shinichi, which I could see being dumb from the very start, but fortunately it's only a big focus for a few episodes, so I was able to look past it pretty easily. The other thing is I personally wanted some things near the end to play out a bit differently (I'm sure you know what I mean), but that's just me, so not really a problem with the show. All in all, it's a great action series, if you want something more on the dark/mature side.

Damn. I really need to finish reading the manga of Parasyte. It's short enough that I don't have a reason not to finish it, really.

Oregairu 2 - First Impression - (7/10):
Loved the first season, and even though this episode isn't anything mind-blowing, it's pretty good, and still has that same feel as the previous season. Even if they don't do anything big in terms of development or anything, I think I'd be rather satisfied with this season just following the same format.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - First Impression - (7/10):
While it wasn't bad, I guess it wasn't exactly great either. I am, however, leaning more towards good, though. I really like the setting and concept of the gods and dungeons, there's a chance the fights could be pretty cool once they start doing some actual fighting, and for what it's worth, having Kirito's VA do yet another show like this feels nice, I guess. On the bad side, we have really obvious, stupid drama and a love triangle, which if it takes up a large part of the series, is really gonna bring it down, in my opinion.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd Season - First Impression - (8/10):
It's finally back, and it's as great as ever! Nothing has changed in terms of quality, and it''s really nice that they picked up right where they left off (technically it's just a split cour, not entirely different seasons, in that sense), so a lot of stuff happened this episode, which in turn sets up for a lot of stuff to happen during the rest of the show. HYPE. As small as it may be, the new OP is also really good.
---------------------------------

Owari no Seraph - First Impression - (8/10):
Didn't expect much from this initially, to be honest, but from the very start it's dark, grim, and intense, and it manages to keep that up throughout the entire episode. Like, I'm somewhat amazed that what happened did actually happen, since I was not prepared for this at all. Gonna be interesting to see if they'll keep the same style up, or if it'll change after this.

Plastic Memories - First Impression - (8/10):
Went into this not really knowing much more than that it was sci-fi and there were human-like androids. Right away I was told MC fell in love with an android, and the androids have a short lifespan. From the very get-go it's so very apparent how this series will most likely end, and yet I can't help but feel like it's still gonna hit hard... This first episode had some sort of funny bits, although some parts were kinda off, but when it wanted to be sad, it really was sad, and I hope they manage to do well in showing the relationships and the grief and departures of the rest of the androids they need to retrieve, while at the same time not completely messing up the MCs development, as it'll be pretty important in this show. Definitely gonna be an interesting one.

Shokugeki no Souma.
You remember Koufuku Graffiti? Well, this takes "erotic eating" to whole new levels already in episode 1. Scratch that, within the first few minutes. So, yeah.

Ya... This is actually tagged ecchi, so I can definitely see that happening. It's also the reason I decided not to pick it up.
