It was a fumble. That I think could have been avoided. He just so happened to run into the guy that was protecting him and made a fumble. Yes I looked at the replay it was pretty bad but it could still have been avoided. I'd rather have Sanchez than Tebow as a Starter though. |

The buttfumble capped off one of the most disastrous Jet seasons ever, and sent the team spiraling even faster down the path to the dregs, which is where they currently reside. I don't care if his supporting cast wasn't all that good, as a quarterback it's your job to be the man, to show some kind of spark, some kind of life, even when the team sucks. Sanchez showed nothing. He wilted, folded, and collected his paycheck and left. I don't care if Geno Smith is acting like a petulant child, anything is better than Sanchez. And Tebow's gone forever. Won't even give the guy a second thought. |

Sanchez did make it to the playoffs twice. Unlike Geno and most of everyone on that team. He can play it's the fact that the team thinks getting QB's is important in the draft which it isn't if I learned anything from watching Alex Smith. You gotta have a older players to teach them something. Sanchez has nobody to learn from. You can blame the guys in charge of the team. Not just Ryan, but the GM, and the Owner. |

I know I rag on Rex all the time, but I can't stand their owner either. He's a complete moron and a tool who cares more about back page headlines than actually building a winning franchise. I know he was behind the Tebow deal, I just know it. But what was even worse was that their ex GM, Mike Tannenbaum, actually made the move for him. I mean, we're talking about the worst trade the Jets have ever made, and all the GM had to do was say no to Woody, but he didn't. It's just such a no-brainer. EVERYBODY knew this move would be a disaster, yet for some reason Mike Tannenbaum thought he was smarter than everybody else, and single-handedly ruined Mark Sanchez in the process. I'm glad that clown is gone. I know Rex should be too, but I'd rather have rex around to take this losing season rather than a new coach. Edited by beastman721, May 5 2013, 04:31 PM.

Hoyer's out. Just as it looked like the Browns were making some headway, this happens. Shit. |

I take back what I said. The Browns smothered the Bills last night. |

Mere semantics! Why start a new thread when you have this one? Unless someone can change this one's title. |

I wasn't going to get all that ivested into this Jets season, but damn, that win Monday night made me believe in this team. Down 1 with less than 2 minutes after blowing a lead, Geno Smith marches the team down the field like a savvy vet, and Nick Folk drills the game winning field goal. I still have chills, probably the best jets regular season win in 3 years. Talk about a Hollywood ending, that was straight out of the movies. Also, the Giants are 0-5. Screw them, beneficiaries of some of the flukiest runs in NFL history. Edited by beastman721, Oct 9 2013, 04:12 PM.

Anyways the 49ers in second place But yeha the Jets are doing okay. And you and everyone else loves Geno Smith. Don't worry there will be a lot of tape on Geno. |

Picks for today's games: Falcons beat Buccaneers Rams beat the Panthers Bengals beat the Lions Chargers beat the Jags (I wouldn't be surprised of the Jags go 0-16) Bills beat the Dolphins Jets beat the Patriots (might as well try calling for one upset) Eagles beat the Cowboys Bears beat the Redskins Titans beat the 49ers Packers beat the Browns Cheifs beat the Texans Ravens beat the Steelers Colts beat the Broncos |

A flukey call in the Jets/Pats game, but a win is a win is a win. To hell with the Patriots |

Even against one of the worst defenses, the Ravens can still only score twenty points. Five weeks in a row where the Ravens haven't been able to get more than twenty points. At this point, I don't see them going to the playoffs, even as a wildcard team. The next three games are winnable, but the last three are really tough (at Detroit, home against the Pats, at Cincinnati). Boldin traded, Pitta hurt, underachieving players, Oline scheme being trash... this was like the perfect storm for the a disappointing season. |

Even though I can't stand the pats, I didn't think last nights call was all that bad. The ball was well underthrown and ended up being intercepted, I don't think gronk catches that, regardless if he was held. I think it was the right call. |
