It was even so much the actual fumble, but the absolute catastrophic beat-down on national television, at home, to your biggest rival. Pretty much the darkest moment of my fandom outside the '10 AFC championship loss to the Steelers.

Nice, pick six to start the game. I just repress it.

Damn. A muffed punt return always leads to bad things.

I'm just tired right now, and in pretty shitty spirits. Genuinely bummed out right now and when things go bad sometimes watching a good game from the Jets can lift my mood. Not tonight.

I almost wish things would get better than the Jets than for the Browns right now. it's painful to watch. God's good graces go with your team Beast

In, draft picks gone bad news: http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/11578003/morris-claiborne-dallas-cowboys-hears-lineup-news-bolts

Hey, maybe the 49ers would want him. He'd fit right in.

Eli really found his groove last night and completely picked apart the Redskins. I can kinda see this as a statement game, albeit against a pretty mediocre Redskins squad. Though I still think the NFC East is up for grabs, I think the Giants are the most consistent team week-in and week-out, so I think they've got a great chance to win it. Philly can be really explosive offensively but that defense is atrocious and seemingly can't stop a nosebleed.

The Giants definitely have the ability to win it. When Eli is good, he's really good. It all comes down to their offensive line. If they block well for Eli, they win. If they can't protect him, they lose.

So, Steve Smith vs his old team happens today. This should be good. One interesting stat, Steve Smith already has two one hundred yard games for the Ravens. He didn't have any for the Panthers last year.

At this point, I'd just be happy with a Jet performance that doesn't include a back-breaking interception thrown in the redzone. Anywhere else on the field? Fine. Just please, no endzone picks.

Jets offense has to get it together, some one's got to make a play here.

Pittsburgh looks like they may be creeping back to how they were in in '08 and '10, just a real solid team.
