Not really. They just lost to the Bucs. This Steelers team is fairly mediocre compared to those teams. |

Didn't see them lose, too busy trying to blow off some steam after a Jet loss, as per usual. I get that Geno is having a really rough start, but the offense is so pedestrian at the skill positions it's hard to evaluate what you really have at this point in Geno. I say let him play the rest of the season, Vick is absolutely shot. I'm not sold on Geno at all, I just think that it really isn't helping when David Nelson is your #2 receiver. Also, I genuinely think that Rex's shelf life is over, and if he gets canned at the end of this season then it's just deserved. This team is consistently the worst prepared and worst disciplined team in the league, bar none. If they had some decent coaching and a little discipline, they're probably 2-2 right now. A good coach has this team at 3-1 or 4-0 right now, which they could easily be given the circumstances in which they lost the past few games. His defense are so overrated and they have a tendency to give up long, sustained drives which often include several 3 & long conversions at the most inopportune times. IMO, he has to go and needs to be replaced with an offensive-minded coach that can help groom Geno, or whomever is playing QB for this team next year. I still maintain that the main problem for this team has been a complete dearth of offensive playmakers, and that includes the QB. I think bringing in an offensive-minded coach is a step in the right direction. Edited by beastman721, Sep 28 2014, 04:00 PM.

The Jets really need a proven OC who knows what he's doing. I can tell you with the Ravens that their offense is night and day compared to what it was under Cam or Caldwell (aside from that burst of greatness during the superbowl run). Though I do think its time for them to have a new head coach too. Rex just can't seem to keep the team disciplined or get them to work as a single unit. |

^ Yup, and I would say this team needs a disciplinarian as a coach, but they also just need a genuinely talented coach who can get the most out of what he's working with. The QB specter still looms large, I just hope Geno can pull this thing together and eek out a decent campaign over the next 12 games. |

Geno has potential in my opinion. He just can't do it alone. He needs a go to guy, and they need a more potent running game. |

New England looks pretty vulnerable this year, though I'm still skeptical because they always reel off like 8 straight wins at some point in a season, it does look like the magic carpet ride may must be at it's end. Good freakin' riddance I say. |

Basically, New England has lost the best part of it, the offensive line. They can't run, and Brady is getting beat up. If they don't figure something out, they're screwed. That division has a chance for anyone to win it. It'll come down to who plays the best against division opponents. My money would be on the Dolphins. |

Yeah at this point it's still too early to tell but it seems like it may be the Dolphins' division to lose. I can definitely see 9-7 taking that division, and that's simply because I don't think any team of the Bills, Jets, Dolphins, and Pats can string together multiple wins. Like I said above, NE usually has a huge win streak around the middle of the season right up into the playoffs but with the problems to the O-line, I don't know if they can. Will be interesting to see who rises from the dust.

Former Jets QB, Chad Pennington, gives his thoughts on Geno: http://www.newyorkjets.com/videos/videos/Pennington-Voices-Strong-Opinion-on-QB-Debate/d703feb0-cac9-4248-aa77-ac36461827a2 |

Chad's always been a class act, and he's right; you can't just make a decision on who starts based on the court of public opinion. Geno's going to get the nod and rightly so. At this point, it's ride or die with Geno. Also really liked the nod to the '02 season. Last Jets division title, Chad also probably had the greatest single season a Jet QB has ever had. 22 TD's with 6 picks, 104 passer rating and 68 % completion percentage. Too bad injuries really set him back. Damn. Edited by beastman721, Oct 2 2014, 06:04 PM.

What's really interesting is that the NFL (at least up until a year ago) was really interested in having a full-time team in London. The NFL usually does a game there every season, and I think the Jaguars play a "home" game there also. |
