Seriously, I didn't think they had it in them. They have a knack for finding their rhythm in the second half though. And they also have a knack for winning/losing by a margin of a few points which drives my frail heart to the razor's edge

At least Hoyer looks like a legit QB, and I think he'd look a whole lot better with Josh Gordon on the roster too. Either way, huge win.

Also, this Jets season is officially in the can and now is pretty much a funeral march for the Rex Ryan era. It was kinda nice, but this franchise seriously needs to just clean house and start over.

Planning on going to the first game Gordon is clear to play again. It's just a coincidence that it happens to be the case but I'm excited.

And I completely agree. The Jets need more than a facelift at this point, and I hope for yalls sake they get what they need

I'm inclined to agree about the Jets as well. I usually side with the idea of trying to have a stable GM and head coach situation but someones, you just have to start over.

Exactly my thinking. Though Rex's resume includes trips to 2 AFC Championship games, he made it to those games on the backs of Eric Mangini's teams. The personnel decisions since he took over have been absolutely dismal, and a team with a solid foundation 4 or 5 years ago has fallen off a cliff and is now pretty much at rock bottom and devoid of talent.

Most teams go through upheavals like this, and that's OK. They have to draft well though, and get some key pieces moving forward, especially on the offensive line and skill positions. Genos' probably not the guy, but the chances of them having good QB play go up exponentially when you have a good O line and some legit talent at receiver.

Right now is probably the darkest time for this franchise since 1994-1996 and Bill Parcells isn't going to come storming down the hill to save them, they have to get this right or risk being the Raiders for the foreseeable future. It's already been 4, now going on 5 years since a playoff berth and 12 since a division title.

The rest of this season is pretty much a curtain call for the Ryan era, and when all is said and done, I'm pretty glad it's going be over. How he never even got the damn team off the bus mentally for that AFC championship in Pittsburgh is beyond me. The biggest game in franchise history and they blew it big time. Everything is different if they win that game, regardless of what would have happened in the Super Bowl. Seriously, what a miracle playoff ride that was, beating Manning in Indy and Brady in NE, and to lose like that against the freakin' Steelers was gut wrenching. Ugh.
