I'm gonna see the Browns play the Panthers in a week. Seats won't be the best but hell, it's still going to be a great time. We'll get to see Johnny AND Josh Gordon is finally back in. Gonna be so awesome

That sounds awesome Unfie, hopefully Manziel lights it up out there, he certainly has the talent to do so. Have a great time, hope the Browns do work.

Manziel didn't quite light it up... I was definitely expecting more out of him than that. In retrospect, it might have been a bad idea to bench Hoyer.

This Jets Titans game is the game that sets football like 30 years.

Welp, Jets just cost themselves Mariota. F**k. They can't even tank right.

Sigh.

You know, if this franchise would just disappear I wouldn't blink for a f**kin second. I'm throwing in the damn towel, I just flat out give up. I'm tired of rooting for this crap-stain of a team that plays in a swamp in freakin' Jersey.

They can't do ANYTHING right. It's amazing. But oh wait, they won a Superbowl! You know, back when Moses was still around and some marching band from some high school played the halftime show. It's getting to the point now where most of the people associated with that game are going to start dying, it's been that long.

I wish I could hit the reset button.

/rant.

I feel bad for Sanchez in that game against the Cowboys today. He was throwing catchable balls but the receivers really let him down.

He missed a LOT of open receivers though. That's what killed me on the game. You could see guys with some separation that he just couldn't target.
Ultimately...sigh...fuck

Keep in mind he's 22 year old football player taking the starter quarterback position on the third to last game of the season. I don't think anyone should put the blame on him. He has to practice and learn how to operate with the team. If anything, the blame has to be put on how awful the defense was yesterday. Manziel has some way to go but he's new, and he has a lot he can learn. Hoyer's been active a long time, so I don't think he has much potential to grow in that position anymore

I hope Manziel works out for the Browns, I really do. I know he seems really cocky but if the dude wins for the Browns who cares, he's always going to be scrutinized no matter what. At least he seems up front about being a jerk. Tom Brady puts on a nice face but you know behind the scenes he a major ass.

Yeah not so good today, Manziel got a hammy. It was a REALLY fun experience though, I was surprised to see as many Browns fans down here as I did. Football just isn't quite the same when you're watching it at home.

The Ravens are all but knocked out of the playoffs now and to be honest, they don't deserve a playoff spot this season. I think the Ravens secondary, their biggest weakness, will be alright next season when they don't have like five guys out with injuries. However, their second biggest weak spot, the receiving core, just needs a major overhaul. Campanaro, a rookie who showed a bit of promise, can be kept and so can Steve Smith Sr. assuming he isn't expected to be a workhorse again.

But the Ravens need reliable outside receivers for Flacco to throw to. I'm not asking for an AJ Green-esque stud who dominates. I'd just like guys who can run good routes and have strong hands. It's sad when you see Flacco buy a lot of time but still not be able to find anyone to throw to.

Welp, the Rex Ryan era is coming to a close, and now the media is stroking the "But he really was a good football coach!" narrative when for years they've been killing him and for good reason.

He's a very good defensive coach, a great one even, but he's not a good head coach. Him being completely oblivious to the offensive side of the football has set the Jets back years and in the biggest of spots his vaunted defenses always wilted ('09, '10 AFC title games). Sure, he had very good first two seasons, but the ensuing four have been nothing short of a nightmare. From the underachieving '11 squad that rolled over against the Giants, igniting the latter's Super Bowl run to the dreadful '12 Tebow/Sanchez/Buttfumble team, the '13 team that couldn't win two games in a row and this season where they've played some of the worst football I've ever seen them play. Needless to say, it hasn't been a great four years to say the least.

It's time to move on. This team needs an offensive guru; someone who can groom a QB and take this offense into the 21st century where it can compete week in and week out and give this team a chance to win.

And as an aside, I always thought Rex inherited teams that were largely built by Eric Mangini in 2009 and 2010. Mangini really doesn't get enough credit as he should. That 2006 Jets team had no business sniffing the playoffs but they ended up winning 10 games with a team that was 1 year removed from 4-12. QB injuries did Mangini in for '07 and '08 and it's kind of a shame.

That all being said, I don't mean to get on Rex all that much, the man tried and came closer than any other Jets coach did to getting this team to the promised land but he came up short and in the end, fair or unfair, that's all that really matters when it's all said and done.

Jets are picking 6th right now. F**k off with that, even in this miserable shit pile of a season they still managed to squeak out enough wins to probably avoid a true impact player. So angry right now.
