The Raven's kicker is awesome:

Quote:

The Ravens have a tradition of embarrassing their rookies.

One by one, the newbies march in front of the entire team during training camp meetings and sing, tell a joke, or something of the sort to entertain the vets.

Kicker Justin Tucker saw it as an opportunity to impress.

He had already done a Christopher Walken impersonation near the start of camp. After watching terrible after terrible performances from his fellow rookies, Tucker decided to volunteer for another round on the final day.

Nobody volunteers for public ridicule. But Tucker’s not your typical rookie, or kicker, or player, or person in general.

“I decided to put myself out there,” Tucker said. “These vets, they deserve more.”

Tucker told the team he was going to sing opera. He even gave them three options: sing in Italian, Russian or Latin.

In a packed auditorium of veterans and coaches, Tucker belted out famous Italian aria, O Sole Mio, as if he were in a grand concert hall.

“Everybody’s jaw hit the ground,” linebacker Jameel McClain said. “Man, he’s pretty good!”

Since that day, Tucker hasn’t ceased to amaze and entertain his teammates.

He’s quickly become one of the biggest characters in the locker room, and a player that has seamlessly assimilated into the team unlike your average NFL kicker – especially for a rookie.

Late to the game... honestly Beastman, I think it's awesome when you rant about the Jets. Oh, and the Steelers kicked Eagles butt today. I still don't get why PA keeps fighting with itself. :P

I can't even remember the last time the Jets drafted a legit play-maker on offense. Probably Santana Moss in 2001 but they got rid of him cause "rad" Chad Pennington couldn't throw deep if his life depended on it.

Good win for the Saints. I'm just Brees and Sproles enjoyed it. I don't get why the chargers kept Gaither in during that final play. The man could barely move. That left that side why open for the defensive end to rush in.

Another note, I think the Redskins would have beaten the Falcons, if RG3 hadn't of gotten hurt. They had a lead for a lot of the game but the two picks thrown by Cousins killed them.

For the Ravens, it was an ugly as hell win, but a win is a win and I won't complain too much about it.

It's too bad the two or three Canadians in this forum don't like the CFL more. I could rant about the Bombers at length.

I'm just upset right. Just once I'd like to have some kind of an offense, its just unreal. This team hasn't had a real-deal top caliber offense in 10 years, actually more like 14 years. They just can't get out of their own way. Defense was gashed big time tonight but they made some key stops. I'm tired of seeing Sanchez's passes batted down at the line of scrimmage, which usually ends up being an interception.

And for the third straight week, Sanchez completes less than 50% of his passes. That's just atrocious, I mean shit that's not even good for a quarter back in the 1950s. I know he has no weapons, but he makes awful, awful throws that are usually huge missed plays, he has zero ball security, no pocket presence, the dude sucks big fat donkey balls. I have no problems saying that. Its not 2010 Mark Sanchez where he had a game winning drive every other week. Its 2012 and he's fucking awful. AWFUL.

When did the Jets start to go badly, anyway?

When they lost in the playoffs for the second time. IS when I noticed moronic choices and not trying to care about your offense. Rex Ryan needs to learn that his offense is capable of winning a game too. But considering the fact that most of the people on the Jets are injured. I feel sorry for the team.
