When did the Jets start to go badly, anyway?
Eh, really around last year when they missed the playoffs. This has been building for years though, its the result of trying to build a team the wrong way; with a defense-first mentality. Most of their high draft picks have been spent on defensive players. They've also traded up a lot, meaning they sacrifice multiple later-round picks to move up in the first round. They've also missed on a lot of the players they've picked in the first round who have shown minimal, to no impact.

Meanwhile, the talent-deprived offense has finally sputtered off a cliff and has performed hideously the past few weeks.

First win in the division in like 2 years. That Division is stacked though, congrats, cincy's got a great offense.

My dad said this yesterday: "If the Browns don't win tomorrow then my birthday is going to suck."

Yeah. It was his birthday today. And they won. <.<

It was also Weedon's birthday. So, he gave himself a great present.

In other news, Ravens extend their home winning streak to fifteen in a row. Redskins and Seahawks pull off the upset. Raiders and Bills damn near pull one off.

I know the Jets are going to New England for a chance to take 1st place in the divison... but I've seen this scenario too many times. I'm expecting Brady to open up a can of whoop-ass on this jets defense, not to mention the pats can run the ball now, it might get ugly.

What's the penalty for 'too many men on the field'?

Pretty much just called too many men on the field. Usually, they'll say how many people are out there when calling the penalty since it'd generally only one extra guy.

You know what, they didn't lie down like a bunch of dogs. I'm proud of them. Fuck the patriots, fuck their scumbag owner, fuck the refs.

I don't care what anyone says about Sanchez, the dude played today, and played damn well. Over 300 yards with hardly any yards after catch, 70% completion percentage with a receiving core that's so bad I can't even come up with the proper adjective to describe their ineptitude.

They deserved to win today, I don't care if I'm being a sore loser, when you get gifted a phantom pass interference call from a ref OVER 30 YARDS FROM THE PLAY! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN! HOW THE FUCK DO THE REFS CLOSEST TO THE PLAY NOT CALL ANYTHING, BUT THE GUY 30 YARDS DOWN THE PLAY HAS SUPER-MAN LIKE VISION I GUESS.

That was on a 3rd down well short of mid-field in overtime that gave the pats the momentum to kick the eventual winning FG.

Now what kinda horse-shit call is that? You see what I mean when I talk about being a jets fan? Its moments like these that make you want to punch a hole in the universe.

Raven's got their asses kicked, no other way of putting it. They badly need a new offensive and defensive coordinator.

Its a messed up situation, Wry.

I'm actually really upset, this teams not just bad, its embarrassingly bad. We're talking plays that will be on football blooper reels forever.

It's sad. This team under Rex Ryan had a shot to erase 4 decades of futility, instead they've added new depths of suckitude to an already miserable and inept franchise.

Good call with the Vegeta face then. Nobody is more enraged than him... save for Jets fans.
