First episode seemed to resolve the plot of what everyone expected to take the entire story, next two are kinda lackluster. Haven't seen anymore to make a decision on whether it's good or not, but it doesn't seem bad.

Ok, so finally finished this one, and sort of disappointed, tbh.

Started out really great, imo. As Zyan said, it pretty much resolves what you think would've been the plot for the entire thing (cuz that's the impression you get from reading the synopsis and all) in the first episode, and then it continues with 4 sort of related arcs after that. Personally, I thought the Valle of Death arc (the first one), and the Ortus arc (second one) were by far the best ones. The two middle arcs were pretty lackluster, really, and didn't add much in terms of anything (they introduce an important character, but he could've just as easily been introduced in a later arc). The final arc (Class 3-4) was pretty weird... Not in a FLCL/Ergo Proxy type of way, but in a "I'm not really sure what to think of this" sort of way. For starters, it had a huge, obvious plot hole. I mean, I don't usually notice plot holes, even when they're pretty obvious, so when I DO notice them, you know you missed something really big. Other than that, the ending of the series is pretty abrupt, and it feels very much like a "read the manga" type of ending, which sucks.

The only other major problem I had was that in the earlier parts of the series, the MCs goals are established, and they set out to fulfill these goals, but by the late-mid parts, they never even mention these again, and they've become completely irrelevant. Seriously, the last arc could've very well been its own series, since it has nothing to do with the rest of the show aside from the fact that it's the same characters.

Again, during the earlier parts of the series it also managed to mix lighthearted parts with more serious, emotional parts, which was great. Pretty much all of the arcs had a more or less equally sad moment, but during the later parts, the lighthearted parts were just plain weird, and not really that funny either.

So ya, very cool concept for the early parts, really likable characters, but lacks a bit in the story department, and the ending was certainly not what it could've been...

I think for this, I'll give it a 7/10. Would recommend if you have nothing better to watch and don't mind these types of manga-setups.
