Here all No-Man, between their 7th day as a member and their ascension to a Last Man, must post a short story of them marking themselves with a symbol of their choosing. More details in the pinned thread.

One of Voluspa can remain a Last Man forever. No one needs to advance beyond that rank; it is a position of comfort. They are acknowledged as trustworthy, but are not entrusted with dangerous secrets. They do not need to give orders and place the lives of others in their hands. But for those that desire something more, the yearning to be greater than what they are, they become a Beholden.

The final ascension; to rise up from a Beholden to being one of the Marked is a rare honor. Few have ever had the honor of having the symbol of the Voluspa, the Vokenut, to be inked on their form. It's so rare because so few deserve it. A hair's worth even survives the duty that earns them the honor.
