Erm, when have I screamed about originality? I wrote one article about how people who want to be original can be. Besides, not using good cards for the sake of being "original" is just plain stupid if you want to be competitive.

RFS was complaining about her lack of victory, and I have fixed her deck to the best of my ability. Cyber Jar is NOT good for a swarm deck, because you don't want to fall behind enough that you need it in the first place! And if you do fall behind, Lightning Vortex will even out the field about as well as Cyber, without putting you at the risk of losing the duel very quickly.

Nobleman of Crossout IS as good as people think. I'd go so far as to call it a staple in an aggressive deck. Some of my original suggestions were out there, but that was due to me not putting much thought into them. I have since put a LOT of consideration into my suggestions.

who says u can't skip over good cards and win?? i don't run a lightning vortex, pheonix, or Brain control, nor would i if i had them. doesn't mean i don't want to win, it means i would find other, less likely to be negated, more original, more consistent, ways to get the same effect.

Phoenix and Brain Control aren't staples; they're actually quite thematic. I don't run Vortex either, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't if I obtained one. What thematic cards, exactly, are more consistent then Vortex but get the job done? By thematic, I mean "original" cards only found within a certain theme.

ok.....didn't know this big a conflict would arise...i say nothing else....

(and, no NoC is...dare i say it....overrated. major. terrible topdeck, only useful against certain decks, when FD play is common. some decks will never play a single mon FD...)

Lol, what deck could possibly never play a monster FD? Even Normal Monster Beatdown decks would probably resort to that if they had to do it to protect their LP from a big-beater. Plus, cards like Tsukuyomi and Book of Moon can flip monsters face-down so Nobleman can hit them.

Yes, but some decks only set like 3 monsters at max if at all. For tehy may never draw a FD creature. Beleive it or not, a deck can run without the setting of a monster. I still stay NoC is so not needed. Over rated indeed. PLus it is was to situational at times. You have to have certain cards at the same time as it to combo stuff.

Oh, I agree that not all decks set monsters. But probably 90% of them do at least some of the time, and CCC decks set monsters constantly.

" Try ALO, Necrovalley, and Strike Ninja"

I wasn't aware any of those cleared the field. For mass monster destruction, Lightning Vortex is tough to beat.

u asked what thematic cards are better than vortex. not what cards cleared the feild.

I asked what thematic cards are more consistent than Vortex and "get the job done," by which I meant that they had to accomplish the same thing as Vortex. There's no question that there are better cards than Vortex, but Vortex is quite a good card in many themes.

there are better things than clearing the field. Vortex can be a -1 card advantage, where Exiled Force is a 1-1 or better. thus it is more consistent.

They are both good. Vortex's downfall is that it cannot clear the WHOLE field and you lose a card. But it can be worth it to play to get rid of some powerful monsters. Exiled you can only kill one monster by killing itself, but it is able to kill a f/d monster too. Thus, they are BOTH GOOD.

Exiled does synergize well with many decks -- you can't search Vortex out, but Exiled can fit into beastdown, Zombies, Earth, etc. in addition to CCC.

Yah, another + for Exiled, much easier to search out.
